@blacknailsredwine Thank you for your comment, I'm presently down 15kg after 2.5 months, doing weight training, walking 5km every day and loving it I've still got a long way to go, but I'm working on it :)

This program really helped to get my mind into gear to do something about my weight.

Please learn to spell simpe words...most fat peopl who get super obese have a hidden pain. Something they can't deal with and they compensate with overeating or else it started in childhood and they were already obese kids, then it is the parents fault that they overfed their kids..

@janjohandealgenman You would think so. In 'primitive' cultures they often wish for body fat and wants their women to be fat. It is a symbol of status, that you can afford to have a fat wife, but also it means if things go bad, She will survive for a bit longer given there is access to water. Only a culture of absolute abundance would start to view body fat as unwanted.

These 400 pound men can do more arm raises, push ups and run for longer than many much slimmer but still athletic normal people. its not the fat thats the health hazard in itself. Its the in activity and all the sugar, the flour, the franken oils and the inactivity. Also, inactivity kills

I'm sorry but you are terribly misinformed, fat in itself IS the big hazard. Especially the fat around the organs increases risks of cancer, diabetes, kidney disease etc. But you're right about the culture thing, still I dislike people whos idea of beauty is either dangerously skinny (models) or morbidly obese.

Primarily when paired with inactivity. Fat is just a storage of energy. It is the whole "fat lifestyle" that ends up giving people diabetes 2 etc. Give 2 people the same crap to eat in too large amounts but keep one of them active and you will see that fat isnt just fat.

Very few men find the anorexic model look attractive i can assure you. Most just want fit looking women. It's mostly women themselves who idealize a very unhealthy physique, same applies for a lot of males who want to build huge bodies far beyond what most women would find attractive and yet they pursue it.
