he was be a patriot catalan man with catalan name and not had a spanish name. Every 11th september he go to pray for catalan patriots death in war Vs castilian warriors of Felipe V, in 1924 he was arrested by Spanish police for celebrate this day.

He was Antoni.. He would feel shame if you would call him "Antonio".. He was an independentist catalan with strong feeling of Catalonia and he expressed this feeling all around his artwork.
