I was always more of a spectator during the "golden years" (around 2008), but from what I saw as a subscriber, I think what you said is true: things have changed. I'm not entirely sure why; I feel as though the partnership thing has something to do with it. At first I was very into the blogging community here - and still am - but now I gravitate toward the beauty community, and it's...interesting. Cutthroat in an off-the-screen way. Sponsors, free pieces, competition...

I missed you. Youtube has become so big that it needs those "big youtubers" to be able to run. We're using a free site and youtube is using those popular youtubers to their advantage. I don't blame them. It's helping them keep up such a great site, at the expense of all of us small youtubers.
