  • Comment removed

  • Change your ringtone, dude!

  • AC/DC FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "put it on your head and go rob a bank."

    LMAO! XD

  • can you write down how this 2 circles are called? cause i can't find them anywhere please...

  • @zdenis3 They're called embroidery hoops.

  • @TrailerTrashing

    thank you man...great video!

  • @TrailerTrashing

Where can be found these embroidery hoops?

    Thank you in advance!

  • @YO8TJJ You can find these in any craft store, or any store that sells sewing or craft supplies.

  • is it better to have two layers or pantyhose?

  • @natalie501 One is sufficient, but two is fine as well. Too many layers though, and you'll some some of the clarity, or the "punch" of your voice.

  • Great video. Please keep posting. Very nice tutorial! Peace!

  • @bprince9 Thanks. :-)

  • hey rubberbanding is the shit

  • "Cutting up pantyhose in your bedroom is normally weird." hahaha at least there isnt a leg inside...and I guess it would be much weirder if it wasnt YOUR bedrrom

  • where i can get the aro hoop?

  • @bmre93 The embroidery hoop is something you can buy at just about any craft store, or even stores like Wal-Mart.

  • `i think this is awesome its you did great! thanks for the info! now my group gots a pop filter! thankz

  • tsssssss grax por este video

  • hey its the same size as my condoms, j/k kool vid!!!! i'll sell those on ebay ;)

  • @ripkvv Not sure how much you'd get for them on eBay ... but good luck.

  • thx

  • @12345678983583 You're welcome.

  • for 5 bucks, you have 2 pop screens and underwear panties. lol :)

  • @BakuraSR45 Exactly! Can't beat that deal...

  • @TrailerTrashing Actually i can...

    1) pop-filter

    2) rob a bank

    3) give your mom panty hose for christmas/b-day/whatever

  • i havent tried this but instead of buying pantyhose if you have a mom or wife that goes to places like dsw shoes or payless they have these like socks kinda that are like pantyhose and i think the same material, when next my mom goes there i will take one and on the plus side they are free

  • @ollyshaul I'm sure those would work too, yeah. Good idea!

  • I would suggest a hoop that is 5" in diameter, that's a good size.

  • @KYOOBED Thanks for the info, and thanks for watching.

  • I think there's a cheaper and easier method than this and dare I say it- a better looking one too.

Go to the kitchen stuff department of your supermarket and buy a metal splatter guard (used to cover frying pans etc to prevent hot splashes of fat. Costs around 2.99 for set of two here in the UK) I bent the metal handle in two places so that it fitted on to the mic stand and screwed tightly on to it.

Job done-looks good is strong works well with no rattles etc.

  • @magpiejefe Sounds like it could work. You should do a video showing how to do this method. I'm still using my same pop screen today, so I'm still happy with mine. But I'm sure there are people who could benefit from a stronger, better-looking method. Thanks for the comment!

  • or you could just spend 5 dollars and buy 1 lol....and thats less embarassing than buying panyhos haha

  • @ItsKnucklez Good luck finding a pop screen for $5. Cheapest and crappiest ones are typically around $15, and they're lesser quality than these homemade ones, believe me.

  • THUNDER. STRUCK.

  • @crimsoncitizen Haha, yep! You got it. =p

  • Aha, your phone rang xP

Im going to deffinitely try this for some things I have planned. Thanks for the video.

  • It rang twice! Haha.

Thanks for the comment. Let me know how it goes for you. =)

  • please can you write on commment box what is that stuff 0:49

  • That is an embroidery hoop, available at most craft stores.

  • Wouldn't the quality be better if you put more layers on the hoop via folding?

  • Two layers works well, yes. Any more than that, though, and your voice will be too quiet to be picked up well by the mic. I have experimented a bit with this, but feel free to try different methods and let me know what worked and what didn't for you! Thanks. =)

  • @JordanMaster22 yeah, he should have done that

  • were culd i find the round thing again?

  • It's called an embroidery hoop, and you can find them at any craft store. Michael's, Joanne's, whatever. Thanks for watching!

  • @kruzzito209 any craft shop should carry embroidery hoops

  • Would a pop filter like this be necessary if my mic is already armed with a 3 inch thick windscreen?

  • Y'know, I'm not really sure. I know the windscreen is intended to block out white-noise, specifically while recording outdoors, but I'm not sure on how it deals with popping noises. This method is cheap enough that you could try it out and see how it works for you. Hope that helps!

  • I made one =P

  • How did it work out for you? Thanks for watching!

  • Works awesome

  • Glad to hear it.

  • "Put it on your head, go rob a bank, whatever you need to do to strech it out"

oh and what mic do you use?

  • I'm glad you got some use out of it. At the time, I was using a Logitech USB mic. I use a Blue Snowball Mic now, and I highly recommend it for just about recording you need to do.

  • thanks alot bro.this is the simplest pop screen to make and has good quality...thumbs up
