How you get filtering and bit reduction and stuff like that with that Novation controller if everything is coming from the MPC and Virus?

Hey man, thanks for watching. I forgot to mention that the outputs of the Virus and MPC are going into Ableton through my soundcard. The novation is then controlling effects in Ableton in real time on the audio. All sounds are coming from the hardware though..

I just got mc-909 ) What a difficult device after korg esx-1 but the sounds inside are perfect. Have you experience with using of korg electribe and mc-909 together through midi?

Is the MPC sequencing everything then ?

Hey man, thanks for the comment! Well the MPC is sequencing itself, but the Virus is being sequenced by Ableton running on the laptop. It's almost impossible to sequence the Virus from the MPC unfortunately, and adding the 909 into the equation just complicates things. Thanks again! :)

Is that because the MPC doesn't give proper clock signals or just because it is a crap sequencer? I'd been considering one as a hardware sequencer rather than using software.

neither, it's a great device. I use one by itself - nothing else. Just sounds like that's how these guys like to work.
