  • I used to be a Rebel pilot until i took a Laser bolt to the x-wing

  • i never beat the DSII stage in time...

  • uuuuuuuuarrrr R2D2 SHOUTS xDDDD

  • This is the SHIT!

  • shit I remember this game!!!!

  • I would love Sega to get this out on Live Arcade or PSN. I used to pray this would come out on the Dreamcast backing in the day lol.

  • it´s possible to play THIS GAME ON PC PLEASE!!!!!!!!

  • i played this game before it's fun

  • I played this in a movie theatre arcade about 12 years ago and have beaten it a few times,of course it took about 10 bucks to do it!

  • i swear this game is my life id fight a whole zombie hoard with only a thompson that has two drum mags and a crappy 9mm revolver with only 5 cylinder loads just to own this game system

  • I have gotten 1st place on the leaderboards on 2 different machines lol

  • Only the fighers are attacking, i wonder what those Star Destroyers are waiting for

  • @cameronman93 *BOOOOM!* That blast came from the Death Star! That thing's operational...!

  • THis is one of those few moments in movie history where it makes you want to clap when the Death Star explodes. . . .or go 'yaay!'

  • THey need to re-release this game for downloadable on the PS3 and Xbox -_- I would buy it in an instant. . . .

  • I dare anyone to beat this game with one coin :) I can only get to space Endor, this mission is impossible without getting hit.

  • @mcz1945 people have done it lots of times, i've heard one guy mangaged to play this game for almost 24 hours straight on a single credit

  • @TheCap319 wow, then he is a king.

  • @FortuneAndGlory94

I was able to a few times. You have to hit the TIEs that are right in front of you then hit the ones that veered off to the side REALLY FUCKING FAST. After passing that you're cool if you know how to shoot fast for the TIE bomber attack and know to hoot the TIES through Liberty.

  • IT'S A TRAP

  • i love this game so much i beaten it twice made the highscore twice when it comes to flying u need to shoot like real fast for u not to lose the only time when u can shoot slow is on hoth which is my 2nd favorite level. endor is my favorite. especially fighting with darth vader thats my favorite bonus of all time.

  • can this be bought anywhere!?!?!?

  • @NZsquadron ebay or if an arcade is selling it

  • it brings back the old days

  • I love this game... I used to play it all the time... I wish they made for one of the systems.

  • LucasArts and whoever has the licenses for Star Wars games - listen up! Your loyal fans ask that your next game be not a new, original story but a console/PC version of this magnificent collection of memories from 1990s/2000s! It would be cheap and easy to do, just convert the arcade game onto the new formats yet you would make a gargantuan amount of money selling them on the PSN and Steam. If you want, do one based on the prequel trilogy (though don't get tied down with it). Use the Force!

  • i love this game so much i bought it, you can check out my videos too if you like :)

  • I have one of these, check my videos for a clear rendition of star-wars trilogy arcade :)

  • @pcvideogamer i dont see it in your vids

  • @carlosperezvidal watch?v=_qQ5vqSERX0

  • I loved this game

  • do anyone know the name of the song??

  • @masterwsm Battle of Endor part 1.

  • @Cyclonus21 thank you :)

  • @masterwsm The song is "Into the Trap" by John Williams, from the Return of the Jedi Soundtrack, or the beginning of the "Battle of Endor." There are slightly different versions of the soundtrack that exist, thus the discrepancy.

  • @tphillips0909 thank you :)

  • Oh man, I LOVED this game. Before my local arcade took it out (WTF?), I managed to beat it in one credit. That was so fucking hard, probably one of the most difficult arcade games to beat in one credit. I never made Admiral, though...

  • Hi! I am the person that filmed the Star Wars Trilogy Arcade videos you see here. Look at the initials at the end - do they look anything like my user name? Don't worry, it was cool to see these videos make it to YouTube. I used to have them on a site called High Scores Arcade, but it fell by the wayside as other things took priority. Hope you guys enjoy the movies, it was fun making them.

  • @blainelocklair Ah so that was you? I hope you don't mind me hosting these here. This game is amazing after all :D

  • @DarkShadowRage2 no he hasn't it's me actually. don't trust him !

  • @blainelocklair Do you still use that machine or can I have it?

  • I played this a few years ago while waiting for Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

I got to the very final part where you had to shoot the reactor and failed D: Total game over....not even credits will help ya.

  • Goddamn this game is eternally badass.

  • I always thought that it was weird to have Tie Fighters inside the Death Star for this game. Were they just flying in circles, waiting for someone to arrive?

  • @TommieV

Im guessing yes, the imperial moff in command of Death Star II probably sent those TIEs there as a final backup as well as flooding and jamming parts of the tunnels the alliance fighters were flying inside the DSII

  • I spend a lot of money in this game and when a finished it i though "That was well spending money"

  • very good in the graphics and gameplay I relate a lot with Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike

  • @countryfan8 Into the trap

  • Best arcade game ever. I miss it much. I used to finish almost all my tokens to beat this game, but it was worth it.

  • I can finish that arcade game in only one coin

  • 0:05 its a traup!

  • this game was epic as fuck

  • @MetallicOpeth Was? it still is :D

  • Oh my fucking God, this cabinet was The fucking shit when I was a kid!!

  • I remember at any arcade this cab is easily the loudest shit in there, especially if its the sit down one.

  • I love this game so much... I can play the entire game without dying...

  • @JasonLee215

The PS3 is complete overkill for the arcade game haha, still would be nice.

  • Wicked game. Arcades FTW! :)

  • Congrats Colonel

  • Wait wait wait. The game is supposed to include music? The one at the Chuck E. Cheese's closest to me doesn't play the soundtracks. At least, I've never heard it. And I play it EVERY time we go there! Good memories with this game. =)

  • @IL1KE2COMM3NT looks like that one sucks in compared to the ones that do have them.

  • @sephiroth900000 Nah, everything else is the same. But it would be a lot cooler if it DID have music. But hey, it's still fun. =)

  • @IL1KE2COMM3NT Most likely you just can't hear it

  • @0ldSandwich Eh. Maybe. I'll check next time.

  • I loved this arcade game! :)

  • would laugh so hard if that shuttle was the one Luke took

  • The lowest score of my top 15 was 2588800, and my top score was 2738800 - and I spend countless hours (months) wasting away in a Dave & Busters and suffered many burning upper back muscle pulls from firing too much (to get the high multipliers)

  • is this on ps3 or xbox360.

  • man this guy sucks! I used to go through the entire game on one credit!

  • i never beat Death Star II...

  • I used to be able to beat this game with one coin as a kid and people in the arcade room lining up behind me to watch my awesomeness

  • @dirtyvadah me too! where did you play?

  • @Tractall Trocadero Leicester Square in London

  • @dirtyvadah Yeah, China City Arcade in Colindale. I don't know if its there any more though.

  • For me, once I got the game out, I ranked Admiral on quite a regular basis.

  • i remember when i was young, it was a drem to beat this game like that. :)

  • is this for the sega

  • I'm guessing that you take Wedge's place for this mission, not Luke's. Come to think of it, the only missions where you use luke is in Episode IV, against Boba Fett, and Vader. The rest I assume that you use an unnamed member of Rogue Squadron to fight.

  • @musicboy311 then who the hell boards the Millenium Falcon at the end of the Hoth mission? R2-D2 boards it buts hes not supposed to

  • @starwarsfanboy3 like I said; UNNAMED member of Rogue Squadron. But as for the Hoth argument, in the actual episode none of the Rebel pilots made it to the falcon. Only Han, Leia, Chewie, and 3PO made it. So my guess is that despite it taking place during the actual Battle of Hoth, that part MIGHT have been original. Oh, and as for the whole "taking place of Wedge" I was mistaken. You only play as the unnamed pilot during the Hoth mission. Because I remember that Wedge fought in episode VI.

  • ITS A TRAP(i had to say it)

  • Yeah me 2

  • i fucking hate the tie interceptors in this game lol

  • Heh, at 1:46 you managed to save that poor a-wing that got killed in the movie...

  • I beat my high score last night, :)

  • @mjm814 Lucky! I never once made it on the score board D: I want a copyof this game so bad.

  • @mjm814 Do you emmulate this game?

  • I actullay got 9th place about a month ago

  • Just beat this game today at the arcade. First time I played it was in Japan when it first came out. Spent so much money. lol

  • They sell this arcade game for 3,000$, its crazy

  • i always die in this part, those damn interceptors, you gotta be fast as shit to hit all those fighters without dying

  • Huh, must have been 'Freeplay' mode...

  • This is one of the best star wars games ever!!!!!

  • You actually get to play as Wedge Antilles! That is cool!

  • does anyone know if you can download this game off the internet?

  • Can i say i would kill for one of these arcade games. this one kicked soooo much ass when i was a kid lol.

  • In my opinion, this was one of the best Star Wars game ever. Gameplay at it's best.

  • @NintendoSegaKonami3 The PC simulators from the 1990's were great as well

  • @NintendoSegaKonami3 back then this game was the shit

  • In my opinion, this was one of the best Star Wars game ever. Gameplay at it's best.

  • I WANT THIS GAME!! on the PS3 please..

  • Challenge: 95% destroyed w/no damage in part one & two 100% destroyed in part three

  • Challenge: 95% destroyed in part one

  • star wars trilogy movies and its cool games like this over twilight and its sparkle fairy gay vampire and sissy werewolf shit ANY DAY!

  • love how they used "the throne room/end title 4 the slide show from 4:59 2 the end

  • And, @rsw4ever, the highest placeable rank is General.

  • I managed to get first place!

  • I miss this game so much!! I got 5th place. It was REALLY frickin' hard getting there.

  • i played this game last nite and got 20th, 25th, and 31st

  • How? Do you have the cabinet? It wasn't released onto a console, AFAIK.

  • The highest rank is probably Jedi Grand Master or something like that

My highest rank for this game has been Captain, could never get any higher for some reason

  • Comment removed

  • does any one know if there is like a place that has the highest scores ever?

i have already got first place on any star wards trilogy machine i've encountered, i need a new challenge

  • the person that is playing is not very good but he turns god nearly end, do anyone knows where i can download this game and emulator?

  • I think the highest rank I ever got in this game was General followed by Fleet Commander.

  • hey symbolodeth YOU SUCK AND THATS WHY YOUR PARENTS TOLD YOU YOULL NEVER AMOUNT TO ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE FUCKIN PUSSY AT LEAST HES GOOD AT A GAME!! UNLIKE YOU SO JUST SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND SAVE YOUR TEARS FOR ANOTHER WORTHLESS PART IN YOUR LIFE!! you disscust me

  • ITS A TRAP!

  • 6:42

    DR. pepper

  • they have a couple of the SWT big screen cabinets @ DisneyQuest, and it's always on free play like most of the cabinets including the original 1983 Star Wars cockpit and Empire Strikes Back

  • @figment1988 i use to play on the ones that you have mentioned a lot :) but feel that disney haven't kept them in good condition considering with the amount of gameplay they've gone through meaning the controls are very loose and ridiculously too sensitive when facing the likes of boba fett and vader.

  • even now this game looks epic!

  • woah look at the millennium falcon go its very fast you can still here its cool engine roar. i really hate those tie interceptor

and i wonder why didn't they let you use the falcon in this level?

in this game you use the x-wing instead of the falcon to shoot down the reactor core.

  • Comment removed

  • Also on the high score screen they should high-light ALL your scores.

  • On this game in my home town, someone on the high score screen had the name of ''ass,'' lol.

  • lol. Some people do that for some nearby machine to the star wars arcade here

  • i never beat this level

  • when getting to the TIE bombers @ the end - shoot REALLY FUCKING FAST and you get double lasers for each shot. takes out the TIE Bombers MUCH easier :D

  • that sucks D:

I only saw one other score on there that wasn't the kids, that thing got played so much at Adventure Landing they had to buy some oil to fix the joystick

  • They managed to fix the joystick at the one in Hollywood Park (near SouthWest Chicago Suburb). Well they had to buy a NEW Joystick. Better for me as i can toggle and fire faster if need be (e.g. taking out the TIE bombers before they fire their missiles). :D

  • Comment removed

  • The shield is down! commence attack on the deathstars main toilet facilities.

  • I remember this mission being a bitch to clear.

  • @MadDogBV

oh man dude, ditto. It's easier for me now as i know how to toggle to fire faster and take out the TIEs before they launch their shit & take out the TIE interceptors faster

  • @MadDogBV You aren't joking. The opening shitstorm in part one was an automatic call for "Insert Credits to Continue", and the remainder of the level was truly amazing. The last part always caught me off guard with the first four targets, then the last random one that just decides to pop up later than all of the others.

  • @MadDogBV It certainly was for me. What made this level especially difficult was those TIE Interceptors. They seem do do a LOT more damage then the standard TIE fighters.

  • @GamingGenius And they seem to be a lot more aggressive and accurate as well

  • hehe i spent so much money 2 clock this arcade game :D loyal fan hearty hahaha!!

  • i remember palying this game at the arcade and spending HOURS on it!i never did beat Darth Vader but i had fun trying! if i were rich, i'd buy the arcade machine itself and play it all day long

  • im right there with ya, man to own one of those machines, (sigh) someone was selling one for 450, can you believe that, its an amazing price considering what they usually go for. Found it too late though.

  • Thats cuz this game is old as fuck, shit came out 1998. But its an awesome game thats for sure!

  • I think its awesome that you play as Wedge (I'm pretty sure its him) at this part.

  • 5:00-5:16 i need 2 play this game again just so i can get to those screens!

  • 0:48 to 0:59 too lol

  • Comment removed

  • "The shield is down, commense attack on the death star's main reactor!"

  • Well you beat me. My ranking was Fleet Commander. I remember dad pointing out the 5th target at the Main Reactor just right at the last second. But I still managed to succeed and destroy every single target on it.

  • 1:44 I love that moment, straight from the film xD

  • This game was so crying out for release on the Dreamcast. Why didn't you do it Sega...?

  • it was suppose to come out on there

  • Come on mame devs!

  • Rank 23

"the force is with you but you are not a PRO yet!"

  • I hope this comes to the Wii Virtual Console Arcade lineup along with the Simpsons arcade game. I would buy a points card just for that.

A prequel trilogy arcade game would be cool with like Naboo, Geonosis, and Coruscant.

  • Naboo: Destroy the Droid Control Ship

    Geonosis: Destroy the Separatist Army

    Coruscant: Destroy the Separatist Fleet

with Naboo Ground: Destroy The Droid Army

Coruscant Ground: Destroy the Separatist Forces

(or shit like that-to fit in with original trilogys' options to 'destroy' not 'protest' or whatnot.

  • Naboo: Clear the Hanger of Droid forces, then Destroy the Control Ship

Geonosis: Destroy the Droid Army, then Duel with Dooku

Coruscant: Destroy the Separatist fleet, then Duel with MagnaGuards?

    Bonus:

Duel with Jango Fett on Kamino (with Slave I attacking sometimes like the movie)

    Duel with Grievous on Utapau

    Just my thoughts.

  • then they could have a final level/bonus level:

    Duel with Anakin/Vader

  • the original arcade only had one option for 'destroy'. But we can throw it out the window sure :P

  • they have this in a pizza hut near where i live its somewhere in garden grove,California.I THINK its on Chapmen ave.

  • They shoulda released this arcade game for a home console. I played it before and it kicked ass. :) ... Well except those places where you can't avoid hitting obstacles which are inconvieniently placed in front of you.

  • I was able to avoid them. Only problem is if your arcade control is fucked up. Happened to me @ Hollywood Video in Crestwood, Illimois (SouthWest chicago suburb). Was a fucking bitch to take 3 buses out of the city to and see the game fagged up w/ the controls. Oh and them moving it to the bottom instead of where I remembered it and turning the sound off :/

  • i Havent Played this Game Since i was 4 now im 13

  • this games fun

  • i was recently at a buffalo wild wings, they had this, i beat it on the first try. but for some reason, i kept starting over to play again. its an awesome game
