nice fish. question though.. but do you think is th ebest bait for catfish. i was fishing in the pond at my house and i had a decent sized bluegill i was realing in an a big ole catfish nailed the shit outta it broke me off and i was usin like 15lb test. now im after it :D

Hi! My name is Mark. I've been kayak fishing for about 5 years. If you ever want to get into serious kayak fishing on larger lakes or rivers, heres a few tips.

1.) If you ever earn about 300 or 400 extra dollars, invest in a sit-on-top kayak. They are alot more easier to use for kayak fishing.

2.) Install flush mounted rod holders wherever you need them on the kayak.

3.) Maybe even install a fish finder.

4.) Install a water tight hatch, the only time

The blue gill in our pond aren't very big. We sometimes use circle hooks in the river when we are using live little bluegill as bait.
