Trains have fascinated me since I was 5 or 6, and specially the mighty steam locomotives. Several years ago, I heard Secret Garden's "You raise me up" and bought their cd, but I was transfixed when I listened to "Greenwaves". Because they don't always run engine first at Strasburg. I wanted it to have that element of realism.

Accualy, They go alot faster than it looks. Also the shop is always busy! Trust me!!!! I live near the railroad!!!!

They almost never exceed 25 mph, usually 15-20 mph is more like it.

I think the music fits the video perfectly... it's a refreshing diversion from the usual rock & roll/rap/grunge/heavy metal/disco trash you hear on 99% of railfan videos. Strasburg R.R. is supposed to portray how things were in 1915, and I'm sure the people from back then would roll over in their graves if they heard the garbage we listened to today.

I'm glad you liked it. The trains in the video were going between 15-20 MPH, but it's difficult to film and drive and the same time. I wanted the railroad to be the "meadow" in the song.

Well, the song is sung presumably from the perspective of a dying woman. The main part of the video is these memories, the black/white is to symbolize that these memories (and the railway) have presumably gone - though they haven't.
