what car is this? I cant tell it looks like the base but I don't think u can put magnaflow on a base. So its gotta be the gt or the gxp then right?

@saucemk No it's not loud at all in the cabin, although somedays I wish it was.  At low RPMs it has a nice low rumble.

@saucemk if i was you keep your pipe tips n put 2 mags on it damn it sounds like a v8 b/c on the 04 model it it doesnt have the flow pipe to put the noise down b/c i traded my 04 gt for a regular 2007 n i put dual on it and man it is not louder than my 04 b/c my homie told me that 2005-2008 they put the flow pipe so the exhaust wont be as loud

he has the grand prix, the grand prix gt has dual mufflers, but both have the same 3.8 V6 in it..so that is the reason he has a single outlet, its not the GT version..the gtp is supercharged, and it comes with dual mufflers.

@draketj not exactly. in 06, their were only 3 models to chose from. The base, the GT, and the GXP. The base now recieved the 3.8, and the GT recieved the supercharged 3.8 from the dropped GTP, and finally the GXP.

I just took it to the muffler shop, had them swap out the muffler with a magnaflow and take out the resonator. Also have a CAI.

That's an SE.. What's wrong with putting an exhaust on a car? Sure it doesn't add any perfomance unless you do the entire exhaust, but a lot of people like the sound of an aftermarket one.
