  • i've had mine for two months now, and still to this day, it doesn't really hurt much at all, but sometimes it just randomly swells up,gets all red,& throbs for no reason, and i don't know why? i clean it 2 times a day, i just don't understand why this happens..

  • Mine is swollen and really hard at the top is this ok x x

  • A industrial doesn't take 18 months to heal dumb ass

  • Just to add, an industrial piercing takes 18 months to heal, as do all cartilage piercings. There's no way they can be healed within 4 months, it may be stable, but not healed in the slightest.

  • I fricken want one so badly..

  • Where did you find those cute bars?

  • how do i convince my mom and dad to let me get an industrial piercing? ...

  • It looks really good on you! I'm glad you got a piercing you wanted and don't regret it! :D

  • did you change the barbell before 3 months cuz your not supposed to do that

  • I like how u showed 'through the process' it was a really good idea and in looks GREAT! btw my ears heal quickly too

  • Can you feel the needle piercing going through?

  • @ThePandaliciousss I got my scaffolding piercing done yesterday! I could feel the needle being pushed through the cartilage of my ear, that was the sorest part. I wouldn't rate the pain as a 7/10, maybe a 5, but everyone reacts to pain differently! :)

  • Mines been in for 5 months now and it's currently infected for the second time, both because of other people hitting and throwing stuff at it :( I am on antibiotics

  • i got mine done on New year nite,

it wasnt dat painful but the day after was a bitch.

NW: day 3 it only hurts if i touch it ;/

  • It didn´t hurt at all, and you should rotate it afther you do it because it will get stuck and you don´t want that to happen.

  • I believe it wouldn't do all that its just how ur body responds to the pain an a new peircing its all about the person and how they take it because I want 1

  • ANNNND i rotate my bar all the time because it helps clear the tunnel for it.

  • You think the 16 gauge hurt. Get a 14 haha. It tickles :)

Mine is a 14, and woooo man. :)

  • half this video is based on her personal pain. i had mine done for 2 weeks changed to a swirl bar then back to a straight 2 weeks later is been a little over a month now and i can sleep on it just fine! its all about the personaly pain tolerece and how well someone heals. I have both of my tragus done as well and i canged the first one 2 weeks after and the 2nd one not even 2 hrs later!

  • hi wanted to know where did u get your bars and balls from, they are very pretty

  • i thot u weren't supposed 2 put oil on it... i got mine done like 5 months ago and they told me neverrrr put n e king of oil on it.....

  • They use this song on the sims :3 haha

  • just got mine today. hurt like a bitch! it was the craziest thing ive ever done but i loved it all! im really excited but alil confused on how to clean it with 4 qtips...its alil swollen on the same side as yours.

  • So yu can bring yur bar in nstead of using theirs?

  • OMG * ! I'm getting mine in a couple of weeks.. Super excited, where did you get the gold barbell w/ the diamond? SUPER CUTE <3

  • it dont hurt at all

  • I just got my industrial three days ago and I love it! I only paid $60 dollars for mine and I got a 18g bar so it didn't hurt when it got pierced until afterwards. It felt like there was a lot of pressure on my ear when it was getting pierced.

  • How much did your first one cost? And where did you get it at ?

  • you got this done on my b-day!!

  • awesome song. so i'm thinking about getting this piercing. do you still like it? have you had any trouble with it since you made the video? i'm a little worried about the pain, but i'm set on getting this.

  • @RawrrDinosaur754 The thing with tattoos and piercings is that if it's really worth it to you- the pain only last a little while! I have no no no no pain tolerance whatsoever, but I have stretched ears, 7 piercings, and 2 tattoos. It may hurt when you get it, and while healing, but afterwards it's worth it and you'll love it. :) And if you don't like it, you can always take it out. But healing an industial piercing can be tricky, so you have to be careful & make sure you really want it.

  • where did you find the gold barbell? i cant find them anywhere!

  • I absolutely love the barbell you chose, it looks so pretty on you! :D

  • If u get a industrial doesnt It giv u kieloids

  • Where did you purchase your first gold barbell that you used to get pierced? I wanna buy something similar online, it looks really cute! (:

  • I really want this. I have my helix done, that didn't hurt too much i have really soft ears haha.

I love the piercing T think it looks great :)

  • nice video. it seems like theres alot of ways to do it. when i got mine i use to clean it 2times a day, in the morning and before sleep. i soaked the bar on alcohol and clean the holes with q-tip soaked on alcohol as well.put the bar back and twist it a few times. and i used to twist it all the time, and i had no problem. ive have it for a year now and havent had any problems with it. :)

  • i changed my bar after a month xD ive only had it for a month nd 1 week i can sleep on it :3 nd it got swollen once cause my bookbag hit it nd it almost completly healed :D my piercer changed it 4 me and said hes never seen 1 healing so fast :]

  • @eliana428 how long did yours took to completely heal? cause i got mine done almost 3 weeks ago and it seems to be heal well enough but how can you tell if your piercing is completely heal?

  • I love your nails!

  • @KATEisFAB Thanks! :D

  • Where did you get the gold bar piercing? I can't seem to find any in gold :(

  • Ok so i got my industrial piercing like 2 months ago and i have like a kinda puss ball on the top near the top ball what should i do :(

  • @SinfulDesirex3 Spray saline solution 3x a day and use tea tree oil once a day to clear it up. Mine never had puss, but that should clear up any infection. Your piercer would be able to tell you if it's bad enough to remove the bar altogether.

  • @SinfulDesirex3 yea salt and warm water worked fine for me went down and cleared perfectly even now a lil scabby, but not noticeable and now i can take the piercing out its even better

  • i'm going to have this piercing.. did it extremely hurt?

  • @LigeiaMorrowind Extremely.

  • @PsychoSprinkles really? i once had a helix piercing and that one didn't hurt. a friend of mine does piercings and tattoos and she said that the pain of an industrial piercing is just the same as the pain of a helix piercing.

  • @PsychoSprinkles im 12 and i just got mine like a week ago it dnt realy hur that bad 2 me

  • @stahbebi1 how much was it for you?

  • @PsychoSprinkles

the level of pain is personal, isnt it? because i had mine pierced and i felt almost no pain.

  • @LigeiaMorrowind i think pain depends on how much pain you can take, i got mine done and i hardly felt a thing and the only time mine hurt (i got it done 3 weeks ago ) is when i bump it somewhere but pain is diferent for everyone so you can't really compare with other people

  • @MoonAndSun001 i got mine done last satureday and it did never hurt. i can sleep on it, i can bump it, but it won't hurt at all. i'm very happy with this piercing :D

  • @LigeiaMorrowind im 12 n it dnt hurt that bad 2 me

  • @LigeiaMorrowind i dindt felt it really just a anoying feeling the heeling process hurts more lol

  • @LigeiaMorrowind I got mine done and it hurt a lil but not that bad haha

  • @musicissoul64 i got mine a month ago and it never hurt ^^

  • I want a tongue piercing and the one u hav

  • Why did you choose to have a 16g which is smaller instead of a 14g?

  • @LotsofLove06 Because it look "dainty-er" in my ear...lol

  • i loooove your bar its soo pretty. especially the jewels on the end. wow i want it

  • Got mine done almost a year ago, it actually was the worst feeling piercing i have had.. took it out for 30 minutes after 5 months for practice... closed up, although i did get mine pierced at a flea market, the lady was very cool and she knew what she was doing...

  • Mine doesn't look like this. I made the mistake of turning mine. I thought you was suppose to do that. Got to look for the tea tree oil for it to heal quicker. Where did you find the gold barbell 14k gold barbell?

  • How long did it hurt for after you got it pierced? I want to get mine done but im afraid too D:

  • @xBxRxExExZxYx It was painful for a week. Burning, itching, soreness.

  • hey i have a question .. i got my industrial done a month ago on saturday and i have an indent in my ear from the bar , what do you think i should do ? if u want to private me ill send you a pic so you can actually see the indent.

  • @tommyd103 Sure, send me a photo and I'll see if I can help

  • oh my god where can you buy a gold bar????? please i cant find them anywhere!!

  • Never mind, you said at the end of the video how long it took to heal :]

  • That is the prettiest industrial barbell I've ever seen. I love that piercing but I don't feel like it "suits" me if you know what I mean. But I absolutely love the jewelry you're wearing in yours! How long did it take for your industrial to heal? My rook and conch piercing took so long... they're still not fully healed, actually (after 5 months).

  • @amyinred Aww, thank you! :)

  • i got my cartlage piercing..

  • its not bad to sleep on your piercing i did it i just wouldn't recommend it with in the first week or couple days, but thats just my opinion i never had a problem. btw im getting mine done soon hopefully when i get my tattoo recolored 2 birds 1 stone lol! yaay!!

  • So like do you take the bar out and replace it with something when you sleep or do you leave it in???? that always confused me

  • @BloodWolfGirl99 Leave it in when you sleep. I use a bioplast barbell for night time. It's soft and flexible.

  • I Like This Video.! Im Planning To Get a Bar After I Turn 15 & I Wasnt Sure If It Hurt A Lot Or Not Even Tho My Bff Has 1 & My Friend.

But Why Did You Get A Smaller One.? I Thought Bigger Was Better.?

& You Have The Most Sexiest Bar Ever.!!! I So Want One, How Much Was It.? :D

  • @cookiemonster21love im getting mine for my 13 bday witch is in a week:)

  • @cookiemonster21love Haha, thanks. My bar was $157, but the price of gold went up so it's more expensive now. I got a thinner bar because I didn't like how much room the thicker bars take up in your ear....if that makes sense.

  • @PsychoSprinkles How do I take a shower with the piercing?

  • @XxMickeyKatxX I would tilt my head sideways so that the shampoo didn't get in the piercing. Shampoo would make it buuurn. It's alright if water gets on it, though.

  • I got my industrial pierced with a 12 gauge needle.. so I currently have a 12 gauge bar in my ear. I got it 3 years ago when I was 13..and it didn't really hurt at all..it only hurt after if you hit it or got it caught on something.

  • Comment removed

  • My ear burns the cartalge the fleashy one I have a stud and Wen I move it it burns any1 help or just leve it alone Im kindda scared if it will get infected plezzzz help thax:]

  • I hoping to get mine done in a few weeks. I have competitive cheerleading 4 days a week, and I get hit a lot. Is it a bad idea to get it done? I don't want to hurt it a lot of anything... Thanks! :)

  • its looks awesome ! i really wanna get mine done! how much did it cost?

  • @TheScript55 Amazon has small bars. Some sell micro bars (18g) but stay away from those as they will migrate out of your ear.

  • how bad did it hurt when you got it? i'm getting mine next Monday.

  • @BriannaAshleyF Like one of the most painful experiences I've had. The guy screwed up so he had to completely re-do it. I heard my cartilage crunch like bubble wrap.

  • @PsychoSprinkles i got mine now. and it only hurt the next few days. i've had it for five days and it hardly hurts now. it's just bruised. i have to change to a longer barbell soon, though. it's so small that my ear looks deformed. o.o

  • @BriannaAshleyF aw xD yes, a longer bar will fix that!

  • why did u choose a smaller size? like why did u down size it

  • @divinemoon16 By "downsized" I mean the length of the bar was shortened. It's because the bar was super long to accommodate swelling. Since there was no swelling the bar was sticking out way too far. That's why I put in a shorter one :)

  • wow 5 days old looks awesome

  • @foxyfantagegirl16 I roll like an alligator in my sleep, and I've never had a problem with my cartilage rings but since industrials are on a bar, it can get hurt more easily if you roll onto it in your sleep. Best thing to do is when you get it pierced, ask if they can use two rings (one in each hole in your ear so it's like two seperate piercings) then just switch to a bar once it's healed. That's actually what my piercer friend recommends to ALL his clients. less risk of bumps, too.

  • i LOVE the jewelry

  • Hey I was just wondering when an industrial piercing stops hurting? I have had mine for about two months and it still hurts to sleep on it or wear my glasses. I clean it everyday with salt water. Is there anything I can do or does it just never stop hurting? :(

  • @shortie97 do not sleep on it.. and make sure youre usin natural sea salt not iodized salt. also make sure you're washin it with an anti bacterial soap no dyes or fragances. Dial has worked great for me. most importantly DO NOT TOUCH IT! also keep in mind it's a cartilage piercing and they take a while to heal. hope it gets better soon :)

  • @shortie97 My helix (cartilage) ring was sore for three months from over-cleaning it. Make sure you use distilled water and SEA salt, never table salt. What I did to finally make mine stop being sore was STOP cleaning it and LITHA (leave it the hell alone) don't play with it, don't let your hair touch it (if you can help it), don't clean it, just don't do ANYTHING to it. I only ever clean my piercings for the first two weeks now and they heal just fine. :)

  • @shortie97 It usually takes a year to heal. Pain after a few months is normal, but it should be less and less pain as time goes on. Are you trying the tea tree oil?

  • I had mine for two years now. My top hole on a scale 1-10 was a 2 my bottom hole was a 4 ummmm it didn't hurt when I slept on it bc I used my arm for support I cleaned alot and took care of it so it's doing just fine :) btw I have a 14G

  • yesterday i got mine, sucks with sleeping!

every 20 minutes i woke up because i accidently turned around to sleep on my other side that is pierced... btw in my opinion, most painfull piercing LOL!

  • the piercing is amazing i want mine

  • @startingoutbackwards you take care of your hair like normal. Just time your showers to have one of your daily cleanings be right after. that gets any soap scuz out of it. i also shaved off the hair right around my ear, but i wear glasses.

  • i liked it (:

  • i loved this piercing.. i let mine close... so im gonna get it done over on the other ear.. but the first week/2 weeks were the most painful to me.. after that it was like only if i bumped it or moved the barbell by accident...

  • @foxyfantagegirl16 trust me.. the pain will straighten all that out... lol

  • Ahhh! iLove Your Barssss! Where Did You Gett Emmm! iWant One Like The Ones That You Have lol >.<

  • @foxyfantagegirl16 Me too. Get a soft pillow so it doesn't press against your ear. The firm pillows huuuurt. I've been sleeping on my ear for a while now and I have no problems

  • might be silly question but how u sleep with it in ur ear.like i sleep on my sides.looks pretty

  • how do you btush your hair or wash it?

  • why does it look like its in the left ear then the right ear?

  • @iloveyou76575 Because I have a front facing camera on my phone and one on the back. The front facing camera flips the image. The bar is in my right ear.

  • @PsychoSprinkles ohh that what one of my guesses were. but yours looks adoraableeee. what bar do you have in now?

  • Ive got it done, it didnt even hurt.. lol

  • THATS REALLY CUTE..

  • Ugh, i love your second bar...Where'd you get it from.

  • @ohsosexy216 Amazon....but the jewels fall off in the shower :(

  • @PsychoSprinkles Aw, that sucks, &'d i tried to look it up but nothing showed....Whats the name of it on Amazon.??

  • I'm thinking about getting an industrial piercing but I was wondering like if I took it out would there be two big holes in my ear?

  • @kassangel21 well, if you pierce two big holes in your ear then there should be....two big holes. They would close up if you take the bar out within a year or two of getting pierced I assume.

  • have you had any problems with it yet? since when you got it, other then the couple you mentioned in the video? bc i want to get it so bad, but my moms worried about keloids & stuff bc there commen with the industrial piercing & stuff. but ahh, i dont know. please help me.

  • @jessicababy081 Nope, it's perfect-o! Keloids are rare on industrials. People mix up keloids with hypertrophic scar bumps

  • @PsychoSprinkles ohh! whats the difference between them? & is it easy to tell the difference if you do get a bump & you dont know what it is?

  • @jessicababy081 If I remember correctly, keloids are hard and grow bigger and bigger

  • YES!! my favorite song is played in this video :D

  • Thank you for all the advice.. this video is very helpful , im planning on getting mine in about 2weeks & i didnt know they had Gold barbell's im going to look into getting mine gold it looks really nice. thannk youu :3

  • im getting mine done in 10 days (:

  • @zombieeegore Is your dad retarded?

  • I want to get that done to my ear but im scared its going to hurt really bad!

  • it looks really pretty

  • @zombieeegore I found Saline Solution in a spray can at the grocery store for $3. H2Ocean is saline solution, but brand name. Juuust a tip if you want to save money lol.

  • i want one, but my dads friend was having mysterious pains in her back and neck, she had her whole ear pierced like in every different spot, she went to a chinese doctor and told her to take out the two earrings pretty close to where the industrial bar was, she had no more pain. it is a pressure point believe it or not

  • @Starrizfy33 This is the biggest load of shit I've read today.

  • @RushSampson lmao

  • it took my cartilage piercing a year and 2 months to heal !

  • Im getting mine pierced for my 14th birthday! im excited but nervous too. Mostly about the pain xD

  • saturday will mark a month since ive gotten mine. I absolutely love it. I love the barbell you put in it with the blue crystals:)

  • hi i just got mine like last month, and it still hurts badly, the sides hurt really bad and where the bar is, i lifted it up and it made a straight scratch on my ear its as long and wide as the bar, i just wanted to know is that normal or infected?

  • i'm getting mine done tomorrow.. i hope nothing goes wrong :/

  • @emmorr how'd it go? and onna scale of 1-10 how much did it hurt to u? ive watched every freaking video on these piercings but im jw :)

  • I love mine

  • I got mine done may 12

  • im getting mine done and im fifteen. does it hurt at all? i have my cartilage and bellybutton pierced, but im scared it will hurt. I also have my web pieced. none of these piercings hurt but like i said, im scared :S

  • Thank you so much for uploading this video! I'm definatley not as nervous to get mine now!

  • Thank you so much!!! I found the oil and I am so happy!!!

  • How much did you pay for your gold barbell? I see them online but they are hella expensive.

  • @psychosprinkles idk if this is asking to much but the school im going to is spellman nd I was wondering if you could find out if they allow it

  • @PsychoSprinkles

Well i Put Some Warm Water & Salt.

& its Not Swollen Nomore. it doesnt even hurt nomore.

My Ears Are Getting Better. & im Actually Getting My Normal Skin Color.

Thank You For The Information ii Appreciate That ( :

  • I want mine done soo bad im so scared tht it will hurt thoo... : /

  • @PsychoSprinkles

Thanks; im About To Clean it Right Now.

One More Question. From The Back Of My Ear it Looks Kinda Swollen and it hurts a lil bit .its Dhat Normal >? i Understand im Berly On My First Week And it Has To Hurt. But im Just Wondering?

  • @Cachetonsiita Yes, that's normal. It will be swollen for a while so try not to touch it or sleep on that side.

  • @PsychoSprinkles

i Got Mines On Saturday. But i Got Dhem On Both Of My Ears.

The pain is not that bad like the first few daays.

i been cleaninq them every day.

in the morninq when i wake up and at night before i go to sleep.

they have started to itch is that normal?

on the internet says that is normal bcuz is started to heal already?

    but i really dont know.

  • @Cachetonsiita Yes, mine was VERY VERY itchy in the beginning! I thought I was going to die. It's normal during healing. If you must scratch it, put some saline solution on a q-tip and gently wipe your ear with it. If you scratch it with your fingers then bacteria will cause an infection.

  • Gettin Mine On Saturday

  • Im getting mine done probably tomorrow. does it hurt ?

  • Hey I wanted to know what it the exact name of that oil cause I look at walmart and there is about 5 or 6 which one do I get

  • @ladyoz217 It's the Hollywood Beauty brand. A brown and yellow bottle.

  • Psychosprinkles! I just got mine done, and moved the jewelry because I thought I was supposed to. A little bit of bleeding. Normal?

  • @ChipAbbott Yea that will happen if you move it when it's still healing. When you twist your bar it gets the "crust" into your skin and tears it up. It's similar to little glass pieces tearing up your skin. If you clean it with saline solution it should heal up in no time.

  • Thaaanksss so much this video helped lots. I'm getting mine done very soon. I heard from a lot of people that it hurts a lot but nothing discouraged me lol. It'll be worth it

  • I am SO Scared to get mine. I really dont wanna deal with the swelling and bleeding and everything, and i sleep on my left side. EVERY night. And that's the side I was gonna get mine one because I already have a cartilage piercing on the right.. So it would look stupid. And i dont want it to get the other one infected or anything. I really freaked out that it's going to get infected or something. My cousin got hers when she was 17 and she said it was intense and she doesnt think i can handle it.

  • Don't be scared to get it! I got mine done about 2 and a half months ago, and it was no big deal at all. I was sleeping on it within 2 weeks! If you take good care of it, it shouldn't hurt one bit. Also, about the pain thing, it barely hurts when they pierce it. It can be sore on and off for a week after, but it honestly isn't anything to be worried about. Take some Ibuprofen the first few days and you'll be fine! I hope tha thelped!

  • I just got my industrial at the end of May, and it has that little bump on the top like yours and it hurts. does the tea tree oil really work?

  • after it heals can it be taken out for a few hours cause no earrings allowed at my school :\

  • @SkilledCollector Yes, but for a few hours only. I wouldn't risk having it close up. You can either wear your hair down or get a clear piercing retainer :)

  • It's so pretty! I wanna get mine done with gold now... XD

  • Mine was pierced with a 12g needle then my bar is 14g.

  • I really want An industrial! P.S. what's the name of the song?

  • @mrsfairyqueen Daylight by Matt & Kim

  • So cool! Where did you get such cool bars? I haven't seen any like that online before, you should post the link if you got them online! :) Can't wait to get mine done! :D

  • I totally miss my industrial. I'm thinking of getting it done again with 16g bio-plast barbell. :) it'll be thermal color changing from purple to blue.

  • @AndriodGirl That sounds pretty. Right now I'm wearing a purple bioplast bar with light teal balls.
