E.g. in this film, I don't think the Chinese army would use so many flags in the battlefield instead of holding a gun, although they'r e communist army. And the rectangle banners are also only used in ancient wars in China. And in some other Korean movies about ancient history, Chinese always dress quite weird. U should stick to history

Vietnam of course has statistics of the casualties in the Sino-Viet War. The reason that I don't use Vietnam's statistics is because I am objective/unbiased. You will realize even that 6900 per month is a higher casualty rate than either conflict that the US was involved. Other sources claim 26000 for the PLA. Western sources claim 30000 for vietnam while vietnam claims 10000 KIA. Where do you get this 5 to 1 ratio. It doesn't matter what the ratio is it is still high.

E.g. in this film, I don't think the Chinese army would use so many flags in the battlefield instead of holding a gun, although they'r e communist army. And the rectangle banners are also only used in ancient wars in China. And in some other Korean movies about ancient history, Chinese always dress quite weird. U should stick to history

Vietnam of course has statistics of the casualties in the Sino-Viet War. The reason that I don't use Vietnam's statistics is because I am objective/unbiased. Thus, my argument is much more convincing than yours. If I use Vietnam's source, you'll say that I got brainwashed. That's why I use non-Vienamese and non-Chinese source. I believe China's statistics sucks because Chinese government tries to hide the fact that they lost a lot more than Vietnam.

@ComradeMing According to the PLA KIA was 6900 for a monthlong adventure in 1979. That is high. The us lost about 55K for about a decade in vietnam. about 37K KIA for 3 years in Korea. You will realize even that 6900 per month is a higher casualty rate than either conflict that the US was involved. Other sources claim 26000 for the PLA. Western sources claim 30000 for vietnam while vietnam claims 10000 KIA. Where do you get this 5 to 1 ratio. It doesn't matter what the ratio is it is still high.

The Chinese didn't use those kind of tactics shown in the video. They used night-time infiltrations followed by swift and overwhelming "short attacks", which seems like human waves in the eyes of pinned down soldiers.

@ComradeMing However the Korean war is no means over cos both sides did not sign treaty only a long term truce - the only war zone nowadays is along the border though only a few incidents happening. Much of Korea, north and South however is much more peaceful.
