This is ingrained into them from birth - the value of an education, the importance of doing well to support your family and give to charity. And for you to say the Jewish high school rate is more than most is ludicrous. The percentages of Jewish college graduates relative to their percentage in the population is the highest of any group. Genetics does not make you a doctor, lawyer, successful business owner, etc.

I never said we drop out of school more than the national average, I said in comparison to other kids from the same socioeconomic background as us, i.e. upper-middle class families, we seem to be a bit less likely to go to college. I think it is upbringing, Jewish culture tends to have a high regard for education and value good financial management skills. I don't think this is just a Jewish trait. many other middle eastern societies tend to be entrepreneurial and hard working. I think if a lot of parents and schools were to teach kids the value of money and investment. Eventually, financial success won't be considered exclusive to few ethnic groups.
