Thanks to Reagan who thought it was better to cut taxes for the rich and stick it to the working class.The extensions are being funded the same as the two wars we're in.We keep the printing press rolling and continue to borrow from China.

Hmmm...wasn't there just another fiasco regarding the government covering even MORE unemployment extensions? And many businesses have seen 50% less people seeking work now before the Obama raises and extensions. Many are taking advantage of the government funded vacations. I know several personally. Ask the temp agencies in Michigan. It is getting harder to pay all the people that aren't working from the backs of the working taxpayers.

Raise capital gains taxes. I have no problem with anyone making good money working hard at creating a business or running a business. When capital gains taxes are lowered that gives the rich less incentive to invest in new industries and more incentive for them to invest "safer" industries. These safer industries are more interested in maintaining the status quo and using government to stop innovation in order to safe guard their cash cows. Higher capital gains taxes = more innovation.

Payroll Taxes mostly apply to individual workers making under $110,000/year. Not the wealthy by any means. This would let all workers keep more of their own money. It is a return of stimulus funds to the people. Government doesn't create any real private sector permanent growth.
