@whatis250 yes they do come after a week, a week of survival is considered possible by almost everyone if they know what they are doing, so they still have to search after a week just incase but not so widely anymore.

Um, did he say "jiggers"? Yep, he did. For those of ya'll not from the south they're called Chiggers. And those were Not them squirming in his hand. Chiggers are too small to see. A dot of clear fingernail polish on the bump they make by burrowing in your skin kills them. after berry pickin' Mama would give us a bath with Lysol poured in it. Or you can tie rags soaked in kerosene around your shirt cuffs & pant bottoms. Fun huh? :^)

@Dafidd I'd say you're both right (screw the dictionary). Surviving getting stranded is all about getting out alive. Sometimes, though, you can't get out right away. That's where this show comes in handy.

I used to love to camp. Would do it for a couple days at least. We did bring food, drinks and entertainment. But it was soo bad ass just to be away from everything. We would just camp in the woods or in a clearing in the wild about a hour from my friends house. There weren't any houses even close to us. Sadly that area is gone now. They had to develop that land and our beloved camp spot is long gone.
