The Village is the title of a song from the thin red line, not the M Night Shyamalan movie "The Village", although they both have Adrien Brody :)

That's the problem with the commercial version of the ost, it doesn't include pieces like the one you talk about, which is, by the way, one of the best parts of the soundtrack

actually, i love the photograph. i used to listen to this soundtrack when i read a lot of classic novels and it also makes me think of similar things. and this is coming from a HUGE fan of the film
