  • awesome feeling to reduce power costs in my house from over 2Kw/hour (if they were all on at the same time) to just under 20 watts.. humongous savings for a do it yourself guy who learned off the internet, I make my own light bulbs out of the old 40 watt one's, and all the lights wiring is on a seperate string inverted.

Anybody figure stringing all the lights in parallel is a good idea? whole thing operates on 12volts

  • Would like to install LED strip lights in an existing in-ground pool. The pool is to be retiled & plastered in the near future.

We would like to place the lights: 1) Under edge of coping and 2) On the front edge of pools built-in steps.

Main concern pool guy has is how to mount them and the best way to cover the exposed wiring. How would you suggest mounting them?

  • @fretspan Hi Frank, it looks like James was able to solve your problem on our Live Chat. We'd love for you to send any photos or videos after your project is done!

For anyone else who has the same question: the best things to do is mount the waterproof strips in a track and depending on the design of the pool you can use cement screws. The wires can be run with conduit for protection and can be covered up with plaster.

  • Do you guys sell LED kits for cars? Maybe I could do some colored interior lighting...

  • @DracoAzule For cars, we do not have LED kits per se but one of our employees Michael installed color changing strip in the dome light of his car. Here's his instructions bit.ly(dot)oRQJg3
