As much as I hate Meg Ryan... I mean, Tidus, gotta admit he's pretty broken on this game :O

People hate Tidus and they call him "Blondie" and "whiny bitch' but his RESOLVE IS AWESOME!! I mean really, he has epic quotes and all his moves are DAMAGEGASMIC! He is the srtrongest playable character in FF history too, with Blitz Ace.

This just goes to show that Tidus' voice actor IS good, just FFX's english lines and direction were terrible.

@Durwagon they weren't at all, just limited. because all the cutscenes in ffx had been made for japanese, including the lip synching, the voice actors in the english version had to go through and match the words up to the video as best they could. since some short phrases in japanese are long here, and vice versa, a lot of emotion was lost in places. it doesn't necessarily mean the direction was terrible. the fact that you didn't notice proves how well it was pulled off, actually :')

Tidus's alternate costume is actually the original costume in the original Final Fantasy X so technically his normal costumes is the alternate

I never liked Tidus in 10, but he's pretty kick ass in Dissidia. I guess his cheery personality's more refreshing? + he happens to be a very good character...

I'd hate to say it, but this sort of game suits Tidus's and Jecht's charecters a lot more than FF10 does!

I completely agree. I don't understand why, but their voices just work so much better here than in the original. I've actually kind of missed Tidus' voice... It doesn't seem as whiny.
