from the noise i hear at idle that slight "knocking sound" you might wanna check your crankshaft for side-to-side play and probability check for cylinder out or roundness, i wouldn't wanna see a beautiful bike blow up :) 2-STROKES FOR LIFE!!!!
Man, that takes me back! I started my roadracing career on a '74 RD350. Ran in the mod. production class. Best part was eating up the Kawi triples! They'd pull me on the straights, but the RD would out-brake and out-corner them so bad that they didn't have a chance! Great memories!!!
Super Nice RD! I am restoring a 1975 RD359 it only had 5,233 miles on it when I bought it 2 weeks ago from the orgnial owner here in NC. Do you know where I can find a master cylinder rebuild kit? Parts are kind of hard to come by.
Spec II makes a great pipe and still available. DGs are great for the price though. Would love some Moto Carrera pipes if I could find 'em now that they closed shop.
vou dizer essa moto tem apenas um defeito ela não combina com meus 1,90 de altura mas que eu amo as motos dois tempos isso eu amo de paixão pra minha altura só dt 200r ou rd 350 lc
NICE BIKE! I just bought one that was in decent shape but not as nice as that. What pipes on that? All I can find are the DG pipes but I want something different. How do you like your drag bars? Is it still comfortable to ride?
The pipes are Pro-Flow. The mufflers on the end of the pipes are welded on and can not be removed so I was thinking the DG is a better set of pipes. The drag bars are not comfortable and made the bike kind of tricky in a turn but the riding postion going down the highway helps cut down on the wind. Good luck with your new bike and have fun. Thats what it's all about!
@RCFLYER83 That may be because of the Banshi manafolds with the cross over tube. It realy helped out the idle and over all performance. Thanks for checking it out!
Boy, that RD sure looks nice!I'm repainting my RD this winter, and am considering this paint scheme. Where did you get the decals? Thanks for the video.
nice, just bought one for cheap no spark but cant wait to see what she does. they were called the giant killer, because ppl on 750's would get stomped by this little bike. its not how fast it goes but how it goes, cant wait....
Yea, it's fun to cruze around town on. It's a small bike with a lot of power. Between 5500 &6500rpm's you'll be wantin to hang on. It will cruze at 70mph. all day long. I've had it up over 95mph. a couple of times, but mainly just putt around on it. I get a lot of thumbs up, you just don't ever see these bikes on the road anymore. Thanks for looking!
