@pcfxer OC Transpo special constables have the same authority as a police officer on OC Transpo property. They can arrest and charge on any criminal/provincial act that a police officer may. OC Transpo fines are not private law, they are municipal bylaws. Private law are civil laws that involve contracts etc between individuals. You say you're taking law? next time get a clear shot of the bus number, the date and the time. then the driver behaving outside his authority can be easily identified. bus drivers are to stay in their buses in situations such as this one. they are not to harass passengers.
