were those boffers or ratan? Clanked like wood. I'm curious as to what happened that made the one on the left fall down? Looked like the one on the right just hit the inside of his shield right as the one on the left got a clean shot at his side... what happened there?
ohhh I guess that was more of a hip shot... I dunno... I don't like in SCA how "anything not covered by a shield is an illegal shot" ... too many shields... gets annoying.
@dasgregorian what do you mean by "anything not covered by shield is illegal shot"? for example that guys head is agreat target, or smack him in his sword arm hes got sticking out! easy hit. besides this is medieval combat, and most people used shields at that point, thus there are going to be lots of shields!!
