If it were me I'd have that last German plane in the back fire at the ship causing holes to appear in the sails and one bullet go thru the captain's hat! The Germans are NOT stupid and would quickly collect themselves since they have been roughed up from their own economy collapse.

Then Hook would have his ship limp into Neverland hardly functioning and The London Telegraph reporting it as an unidentified airship which happened from time to time.
