@imupabove what amps you got? Cuz all amps will have a max amp draw witch is what u posted "120 amps" If your just playing music it will draw only 1/2 that. Also you have to count in how much your car itself draws for power, like ac, fans, lights, ect. Also it helps alout to upgread your main battary and to do the big 3. Also adding a 3ed battary will always help alot

@imupabove at most with both amps runing full tilt on music your going to draw 60 amps. Also even if your alt is rated 70 amps its only realy doing about 50 amps @ idle. I bet your seeing voltage drop like crazzy depending on what u have done with your eletrical system and it sounds like u have done nothing

@imupabove depending on what kind of battary u get. Doing the big 3 in 0 gauge will help ALOT do that and get a battary and then see what your voltage drop is.

@imupabove well yes and now. the HC1400 is a great battart and will do around 1400 watts rms. Do that and if your droping below 13v u need to upgreat your alt to dc power.

@imupabove lol my definition of bangs hard is way different then yours is. Mine is doing 150+ on music legal witch would need atlest 1-2 high output alts more then 2 runs of 0 gauge wire from front to back and alot of battarys. You have along way to go before u "bang hard"

Nice setup dude. I got a 15" treo ssx powered by a hifonics brutus 1600 watt amp....i was thinkin of gettin an aq amp 2200 or 3500, is aq better than hifonics? Honestly cus theyre both about the same price. N do the aq subs have cooling?

yeah the hdc3 are rated 1000rms but almost everyone that has aq runs there copper up and over 2krms each. clean signal. They VERY underrated subs. the owner dj over builds every thing. iv seen soem people give them over 5k rms! I give each of my hdc 2k+ rms
