is there someway we can get Dwight Howard without sending Pau Gasol away?? The trade would work but it all falls back to Hedo T's crazy contract...hopefully something does happen to improve the Lakers, especially since the Clippers now got Chris Paul. Lakers got to get more talent and energy or else Clippers will be team to watch in LA ( just my view).....any thoughts? lol

Hope Pau stays in Lakers now that we won't get CP3.. and hopefully get dwight.

@Mamadnazar Yup, Bynum AND Pau up front for Howard or no deal. That CP3 trade to the Clippers really hurt their leverage in that sense. If they gonna have to give up both bigs to get him, then they gotta ask the Magic front office about including Jameer Nelson in the deal. Last time I checked, Lakers STILL need a quick young PG to keep Fisher on the bench where he belongs (if he doesn't decide to retire at some point this season, lol).

@JoshHighLifeKhalifa Tell that to Baby Buss and Mitch, lol. Personally, I'd rather go that route than to lose a proven high-IQ frontcourt player like Pau. Kobe only got 3 more seasons left on his career (including this one). Time for the Lakers to start getting younger while they reload for another possible title run. So far, adding Green and McRoberts doesn't hurt since they're young and talented pieces that will help. Would love to see them go with Morris as their main PG.

@PeekaPeep LOL, trust me I would if I could, Yea Pau takes a lot of pressure off of Kobe, He's smart and I think he is still the top power forward in the league, despite his playoff performance. Yea Kobe is running out of time, yea they are decent young players nothing really special though maybe McRoberts but Green naw. Yea I'm guess if they don't make anymore moves Morris will start.

When we were dealing for Paul in the original trade which Stern nixed, we were giving up LO and Pau in doing so. If we would have gotten Paul, the speculation, then, was that we would have attempted to further pursue Howard by way of a Bynum trade along with other pieces. In other words, we wouldn't have had Pau to deal for Howard if we had gotten Paul. So, we'll see. Good to see Pau still on the team.
