YOu may want to check your video (review it) there maybe an issue with the audio. I am assuming this because there is no captions telling the instruction but there is no audio either. I would love know what you are doing but the resolution makes it hard to just learn by watching becuase not everything is showing clearly to see what tool and/or option you are choosing in the Control panel and from the tool box. I use to use the eraser to delete the background when I use Photoshop elements. But now that I am in school for graphic arts, I learn about the selection tools and figured out that it was easy just select and delete.

For those who's giving negative feedback about this tool and saying that the magic wand is much pref. try using this technique properly and you'll see that it actually works much faster than the magic wand. the magic wand detects everything where this acts like the extract tool and erase only the parts needed. :) Audio would have been a bonus on this tut, but good stuff :)
