hey, im going to be installing a sub in my "sexcel" very soon as in i got the sub and amp just gonna go get the wiring kit, i was wondering where you put the power cable through the firewall ? i cant seem to find where an unused grommit or anything is, could you please tell me whereabouts you guys put the powercable in the firewall ?

@dylzo94 Its a good idea to strap it down, if its a ported box and you dont mind drilling into it. Drill it into the floor board. You could just use a corner bracket and just screw it to the floor board. Or use some sort of strap and hold it to your seat! Theres so many ways you could do it, just have to find one that suits you. Morris put his in his spare wheel holder, be funny if he broke down and had no spare tire to replace it with! There isnt much point in using 2gauge wire if you dont do "the big three". because the wires which groung the chassis and the wire which goes from the alternator to the battery are usually like 10gauge or someshit :)

Not bad. Don't use a drill to do up the sub screws but. One slip and your fudged. That's a mighty small box too. Also if you mix the positive and negatives on the sub it doesn't matter, it will just run out of phase.
