I love this song, and the fact that this video is 4 minutes and 20 seconds long; I'm now going to smoke a bowl and listen to this song, though I might get too choked up to smoke.
my little girl was taken from me at ten because i became too sick to take care of her anymore, and this song reminded me of her everytime i heard it.she is twenty years old now,and ihad the joy of seeing her for the first time in all those years this year.it was only a few hours visit, but she decided to come live with me after college, and my cancer is in remission now and the other illnesses are gone.this song is my reminder she is always and always has been my little girl.
I LOVE THIS SONG!!!! In middle school where you might think kids still arn't too old for this, but people at school try to act grown up and hate winnie the pooh, but they arn't too old. My friend and I are the only ones who don't hide the fact that we love winnie the pooh. THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mom used to play this on a tape for me as a kid to drown out the gunshoots and yelling outside she's passed away but I'm so glad I found this song makes me think of her 3 u momma bear!
@williamkerns aww....Iam so sorry William. I am a momma and played it for my kids.....now I play it for my granddaughter....I am sorry about your mom..:(\
I'm a nineteen year old male college student, and this video never fails to bring me to tears. Nothing in this world makes me think of happier times quite the way Winnie the Pooh does.
kenny used to love this song when i was little and was lighting to it the other day and it made me think of a toy i used to carry with me as a child and i went on a hunt yesterday thanks for the memories
My fiancee sings this song to our daughter every night before prayers. She always drifts off to sleep before he gets to the second verse and I think how in a few years it will all be different but one thing that she will always remember is how to get back home. =)
Who on Earth is the female singer in this song? Years of passive (very passive) research including scouring liner notes and youtube comments have turned up no clue. Does anybody know?
When my son was born I made him a room full of Winnie The Pooh. Every night before I put him to bed, I play or sing this song to him. I didn't grow up with Pooh Bear, but I couldn't imagine my little boy growing up without him either. :)
@Sweetascatastrophe I was just thinking that it's a travesty for any child to not know who Winnie the Pooh is. I've actually talked to people close to my age who didn't know who he was. I was stymied.
@TedSki82 I think my mom thought it was mostly for boys (since it revolves around Christopher Robin) and so she didn't have my watch it. I definitely always knew who he was though! :)
The Bear of Very little Brain has been very dear to me for over 60 years ... The first book about Pooh that I read as a child started with the line "hear comes Edward J Bear down the stairs , bump , bump on the back of his head" From then on I was hooked on AA Millne.. ...
To this day Pooh and Tiggr sit in my office... Thank you , Kenny ... the song says it all
Pooh Bear arrived early as his young master got married yesterday on the farm he helped build over the past 17 years. Pooh had a Front row seat. He's waited very patiently for that boy --now a young man-- to come home. Me..the Dad--cried.
@MrDanmeyers OK your comment is just the last straw, sniffling and tearing up now! What a beautiful thing to have as part of a wedding, and at your own version of the 100 -Acre wood, too....
Will Pooh go with my youngest son now a man and getting married. Pooh has sen him through life from pre-school to his approaching wedding. Good luck son.
I am 29 and a mom of 2 little girls ages 5 years old and 18months old and I LOVE THIS SONG, always have and always will=) and I am listening to it at 2:59am lol trying to make myself tired enough to go to sleep. and got to say it IS WORKING=)
His twentieth birthday is this month, but Quinn is still my baby brother. I wish I could have been a better big brother, but I'll always love you no matter how big of an idiot I was growing up.
I just saw the new Whinnie the Pooh movie, and was disappointed that this song wasn't featured, however Disney managed to capture all of the innocence of the Hundred-acre-wood perfectly. Whinnie the Pooh is the ultimate metaphor for innocence. I wish that my innocence hadn't been corrupted by the harsh realities of life. No matter what happens though, I can always listen to this song and be instantly brought back.
When my youngest baby was little she was a avid pooh fan, and I learned this song to sing this song to her at bedtime. Those years have come and gone now but I hope one day to sing this song again and like my youngest my next baby will get a pooh bear to sleep with.
This is one of those songs that makes me happy and sad at the same time...wishing I could be the innocent child I was the first time I heard it and saw Winnie the Pooh...
This reminds me of when the only bad thing that could happen to me was a time out, when parents were invincible, and imaginations would soar. I listen to this and I miss those days when you never faught with your parents but got cuddled with when you had a bad dreams. At this moment I have tears streaming down my face. I am such a sucker for the good ol' days.
@ButterBalls1545 Its part of growing up kids feel like they need to be able to do what they want and if theyre parents say no they start arguing and ypu shouldnt feel like a sucker life changes when you get older
i have always loved this song. it reminds me of when i was small and my dad would play it for me and my sister before bed. this song ALWAYS reminds me of my dad. thanks for posting it!
such a great song! brings back a time and a feeling of innocence and hope that is seldom seen in today's world. take me back to the "days of Christopher Robin and Pooh"!
This song was playing when I was born, and it was the lullaby my mom sang to me every night when I was younger. This song never fails to make me happy :')
This song makes me think of my parents when I was a kid. They did the best they could, and I'm grateful for them, because their love was constant, even when they had to correct me for being the little monster I was. And I hope that when I become a parent, I'll be able to show my kids the same love my parents showed me.
I also want to sing this to my kids as well. Seems more like a lullaby then something you'd hear on the radio, but I digress.
Ugh how I miss my favorite pooh I used to listen to this song to help me get to sleep and my mom would hum the tune of it. I still watch all of my Winnie the Pooh tapes( yes I have tapes an still watch them ;D) and i really miss being little
My dad used to sing this to me every night. I always get a warm, comforting feeling everytime I hear this song. To this day, I'll still sometimes fall asleep with this song playing, especially if I'm scared or upset about something. Just that little bit of my childhood that I can't quite let go of... :-)
@missrandom1788 The same thing about me, but my dad died not to long ago, because of brain cancer, when he was in the hopsital, i would sing the song to him, the last thing i said to him was i hope you get better. I miss him more than anything in the world.
My Mom used to sing this to me when i was a little boy and now i sing this to my nephew when he stays with my mom and I. I miss this show and everytime i hear this song i cry. i guess ill never grow up
while listening to this song it made me think about how much i miss this song and winnie the pooh! i used to love the winnie the pooh TV shows on Disney as a kid. Now however, disney has completely ruined winnie the pooh by getting rid of Christopher robin, making pooh look stupied and focusing the story around some little girl! it is just so sad!
I used to have an old school Pooh doll that I took with me everywhere I went. I meant a lot to me because my first name is Christopher. It was almost as inseparable as Calvin and his tiger Hobbes. Then I hit 5th grade, and my mom passed the doll onto someone she thought would enjoy it more. I miss you, old friend.
I finally found this song! This song was playing on the radio the day I brought my daughter home and laid her in the bassinet for the very first time. Now is getting ready for college :(
I grew up with pooh bear, my mum read the books to me, I watched the movie countless times, and then when I was old enough to appreciate it my mum played me this song. I cried after hearing it, along with Puff the Magic Dragon this song is in my top all time song lists.... I will forever remember House at Pooh Corner, my home for many years :)
My mom would sing this to my older brother EVERY NIGHT before he went to sleep before i was born. He's off at college now, and this songs brings back all the memories that i have with him, and i hope we can sing it to our kids one day.
I miss you so much bro. Can't wait till you come home.
Thank you for posting, I love this. My oldest is named Christopher and I always thought of him as 'Christopher Robbin'. This song brings back such great memories - we read from Winnie the Pooh to he and his sister almost every night when they were little. For those of you with little ones, PLEASE expose them to this wonderful works.
This is a BEAUTIFULLY done video for a SPLENDID song!! Love, Love, Love it!

For those of you with little ones, PLEASE expose them to this wonderful works.

my dad use to sing this to me when I was little, some of the only good memories I have with him. This song makes me happy every time I listen to it.

Who could dislike this song?! My dad had a cd with this song on it when I was little.. He'd play it for me, like, every morning on the way to school.
