That's how i get ugly bokeh.. theres only 5blades.. not enough to make a circular bokeh..

@milotheamazing depends on your background, highlights will be pentagrams when stopped down, yes. Some like it, some don't. Look at some hollywood movies, theres not always perfectly circular highlights in the bokeh. When shooting on a background thats quite even, I think the bokeh is pretty nice. And always you can shoot wide open, or stop down to only f2.2 to still get round highlights.

Hey thanks for the demonstration, I got the 50mm 1.8 for xmas yesterday, cant wait to do some proper test videos for my channel :)
