We can appreciate the expense of children. Especially with 3 teenagers. Been there, done that. ;-) As far as braces cost goes....let's just say our kids orthodontist drives a new Beamer thanks to us. 4 out of 5 kids.
Glad you're feeling better and we think you look just fine.
@SunnyDazStormyNitz Oh wow, yes I am counting my blessing for the fact only one child needs braces out of my four. I would be so broke with all of them needing them. Aw thanks guys, you rock!
Coming off meds is viscious! I went cold turkey from Fluoxetine and Amitriptyline a few years back thanks to a screw up at the doctors and it was evil. I also get what you mean about the numbness. When I had meds I always felt like there was a misty screen between me and reality stopping me from feeling the usual emotions. Never heard of bikram, it sounds interesting but I hate being hot so I doubt I could ever like it lol. x~H-Jo~x
@hideandseek80 Yes, nobody warned me that the side effects of comming off my Zoloft could be horrible. I tried several times to get off of it and the withdrawls were so severe I had to go back on it to make it stop. I just gave myself permission to feel the effects no matter how awful it was and that it wouldnt last forever. And its true. I just couldnt take the side effects of BEING on the medication as well. Numb feelings ( havent cried in months) and the weight gain.
Hey good to hear you are free from meds, i'm just starting with them, but the goal is to someday be able to control anxiety without meds. Oh i love your art btw. Take care :-)
@BarelyNoticeable Thank you! I love the crackling fire you have on your page, very soothing! Best wishes on starting your meds. I am so glad I had them during the time I needed them, they really saved me big time. I have had horrible anxiety, oh the stories I could share!
@downwithborgs He's started doing regular yoga (from DVD's) to keep him stretched out in between running days. He's busy training for his 3rd marathon (which will be on his 21st birthday 12/4!)...so any extra workouts that really give benefits are definitely in his radar right now.

How funny! Alex just mntioned "Bikram for runners " 2 minutes ago, but he doesn't want to have to drive to another town AND pay $10 per class for it.

@IWalk4tnt never heard Bikram for runners but I can see how the style could be beneficial to anyone who runs. Great for the cardiovascular system!
