  • All work but when I enter email and password it again ask to email and password any idea I entered many times

  • thank you buddy

  • this tut is outdated, how do you find out the address to share the drive as it has a different look now! please help!

  • I seem to follow all the steps correctly however it gives me an error when I enter my username & password. Any advice?

  • I don't have the 'share' option - my view is slightly different - any thoughts? I'm sure that Silverlight is up to date. Does anyone have any thoughts?

  • @nelljamina419 Yer this is outdated, try downloading SDExplorer tat's what i had to resort to

  • Just update to my notes now that I have had a chance to actually do it. there is a problem [not Deepak's problem, but MS] with persistency of the connections/credentials that renders it not very usable for mere mortals. Basically one cannot expect this to work as a fileshare - it would drive the user berserk . Will try Google instead.

  • Thanks for making this. Can this be done using a Windows XP Pro client? I'm assuming the answer is yes...

  • it works mine but can't add larger file to my folder it says "File to Large for the destination

  • by the way youre a loser and this doesnt work anymore

  • drag this out for another 373 minutes why dont you? you spend 3 minutes talking COMPLETE SHIT before you say 'wouldnt it be great if you could map skydrive!' WTF....

  • @GETFUCKEDRETARD have you posted your video on how to do this? if not, shut up and go away, go do as your name suggests....

  • No matter what I do it says Network Path not found. It does not prompt me to enter my credentials.

  • Sensei...

I appreciate your teaching !!! Thanks for sharing !!!!

  • and thank YOU for taking the time to MAKE this video :)

  • Thank you soooo much :D :D :D !

  • Great starting point. Requires some mods, but works.

  • SCREW DIS!!!!!! this tutorials sucks!!!!! it keeps repeatedly asking for my pasword!!!! check ur sources!!!

  • Obviously Microsoft changed a thing or two, because this now works different! There is a tutorial on how to do it with the help of MS office: addictivetips DOUDD com [ / ] microsoft-office/map-local-drive-letter-to-live-skydrive-using-office-2010/

  • I'm giving it up. I've got windows 7 and tried it for about 10 times now, and he always tells me path cannot be found. May there be difference for users from germany?!

  • It doesn't work for me regards with or without the ^ Is this something only exclusive to WIndows 7? I'm currently using XP.

  • It doesn't work for me regards with or without the ^

  • why does yours say 128gb free when its only 25GB drive

i tried it and mine works - FINALLY!!

but it says 496 free out of 683GB IT A 25GB DRIVE - WHATS WRONG ??

  • Nice tutorial, but: 1. it doesnt work with the .^ before the foldername, says path cannot be found. 2. Works without the .^ , but it is not possible to upload anything into that folder. Sometimes it says file is too big (even if it's only 160 kb) or siilar errors like "file can't be read on the target drive" and stuff like that. damn, i really need this to work..

  • Worked first go. Thanks. Best explanation I have seen and great I dont have to use 3rd party software

  • I couldn't login using my ID & passwords when trying to map the drive. Do I have to link the Live ID to User Account?I'm XP user and I don't have Live Sign-in assistant

  • nice video thanks for upload

  • Amazing It Worked, Thanks. Do You Know How To Do This For Box.net?

  • @PhilDiffy4LIFE Glad it worked for you. As for box.net, I believe they have a download to accomplish this, but not sure.

  • @dmchitnis Thanks :)

  • @DOTNSF1, please watch my other video which tells you how to link your Windows Live ID to your Windows User Account. Although the video is meant for Windows 7, it tells you the concept. Similar thing can be achieved in XP using the 'Manage Passwords' options of the User Account control panel applet.

  • @dmchitnis thanks i linked my windows id to my user acc and worked first time thanks man awsome vid iv got an app that does this for you but it is really buggy and crap lol

  • @dmchitnis awsome got it to work now but says it a 9.99gb in size but skydrive gives 25gb any reason for this or do u only get 9.99gb wen u map it?
