  • the Vietnam War wasn't necessary...both Vietnamese and American are great people...both love peace..

  • Hal Studied the veit minh tactics from the french war and was one of the first American commanders to understand his foe. There were some good south vietnamesse combat leaders often they were not put in charge by the veitnamesse gov. col chou who ran pasification effort of kein ho province was verry good and got his province free of the vc for a time

  • The American administration was convinced that the south veitnamesse gov would fall to the communist without american troops but we couldn't win the war for the south veitnamesse we failed to provide the south veitnamesse with a political system choice that they belved benifited the people of south vietnam. and that the rest of se asia would go communist at least Thiland remained non communist out of it.

  • u die gi!

  • 1 i red a book collecting a hundred memories of soldiers in that battle in a single fluid story, written by a veteran, really nice book, true and simple. can't remember the title so please, if anybody knows...

2 everytime i watch an usa documentary about war, it's all sentimental, but can't even explain half of what where and how things happened. it seem to be made by childs to be seen by girls.

  • @drughello It was "We were Soldiers Once...and Young" written by COL (Ret.) Hal Moore and Joe Galloway

  • Your treasonous U.S. Congress sent you to Vietnam and your sons and daughters to Iraq.

    For what?

  • The politicians who sent us there to do those things and have those things done to us deserve the gallows, the firing squad, you name it, those mother fuckers deserve it.

  • English translation of traitor's post: "Eternally grateful British soldiers attacked the nhửng image that sacrifices and the ruins of the war in Vietnam, only one thing very sad shame poignant and traumatic for South Vietnam as the fight suffered a close political ally the United States sold cheaply and neglected in the peace talks in Paris in 1972 and then being attacked the Government of South Vietnam when the retreat up the mistakes 1 in early 1975 facilitate VC winner on 30 April 1975."

  • This go's to show you that We Were Soldiers (Mel Gibson) is very historically accurate and on top of that a great and epic movie. But i love this video just as much because its from the actual warriors itself. My grandpa was in Vietnam!! Thank you all military for your service! :)

  • @Iceproductionss Mel gibson is a cunt and the film was fucking shit, should have done a top notch docudrama without cunt Gibson fucking it up a truly awful film------------people read Moores book with Joe Galloway.

  • @BS1965able Your a dumbass then, because hal moore helped direct the film, and the screenplay was written from the book, so your obviously just ignorant. Do some research before you question people ;) The movie was very on point historically

  • @Iceproductionss I never said anything against Moore or the guys that did the fighting, I thought that they could have got a better actor and an American not so fucking scum Aussie and yeah the film was shit could have been alot better in my opinion and I have read Moore's book and the book is a million times better than the film it was all poetic licence as far as I am concerned not enough grit like the real battle, but every respect to the CAV and the guys who fought the real battle ,

  • @BS1965able I also thought the movie sucked badly. The book on the other hand was excellent. Perhaps that is what set my expectations too high.

  • @BS1965able Hal moore made sure that film was as accurate as possible. if your predudiced against mel thats your problem. sam elliot did a great job as sgt major plumbley he reminded me of my grandfather a ww2 sgt who raised me.

  • Shown from 04:41-04:47 is Rick Rescorla who became security chief of the World Trade Center and is credited for evacuating many employees of the Morgan Stanley and Dean Witter financial services during the 9/11 attacks. He died while attempting to help many more get out of Trade Tower # 2.

  • they make movie about this call "We Were Soldiers" 2002
