I find it very amusing that in a video that calls both parties fundamentally corrupt...you support a Republican. How about voting third-party instead of for an anti-abortion "libertarian"?
@helios5868 Yes, both parties are corrupt, but Ron Paul is the exception to the rule. Back in 2008 the Republican party banned Ron Paul from their convention, and he NEVER votes to satisfy the party. Even his biggest critics will tell you he is consistent and won't compromise his principals. ... Dr Paul believes the federal government should have no say re: abortions, he would allow the states to decide, he would not outlaw the practice. He supports liberty and life for all.
@noNWOthx I don't buy it. How come Ron Paul want's to decrease regulations on corporations because he thinks it makes government too big BUT he hasn't even thought about the implications of government creating owner-less machines of profit to exist in the first place? What about questioning the legality of corporations existing in the first place?
I guess I see what you mean with abortion but from over here, Paul is starting to look a lot like 2007 Obama. I hope he proves me wrong.
@helios5868 Unlike his competitors, Ron Paul does not believe that corporations are people. (YouTube: v=s-xFexgH76g ) Ron Paul correctly criticizes the collusion between corporate interests and government. He wants to decrease regulations which are inefficient and corrupted. (YouTube: v=5TVwny2wIN8 )
Paul is nothing like Obama... Ron Paul has a long consistent voting record showing he consistently votes for liberty & against tyranny. He predicted the economic crisis & housing bubble
@helios5868 Because the "regulations" have handcuffed normal healthy business exchange...and the regulations are used unfairly - the "regulating" bodies apply their regulations unevenly,,,letting off the big corporations and using them strictly on the smaller guys, eliminating them from the markets. There are Plenty of Laws against pollution, unfair practices etc. and without the Government intervention the Courts would be much more effective in controlling corrupt business practices
@helios5868 you do realize ron paul ran on the independent ticket in 2008, right? the media would not recognize him them [much like now]. the only way to get the same fair amount of coverage or even INVITED to debate is to have run on the Republican ticket [couldn't do it as a dem because the incumbent is a dem]. as for Anti-Abortion, people seem to think being Pro-Life means you want to repeal Roe V. Wade; you don't have to smoke weed to realize legalizing marijuana is a GOOD thing, either.
@helios5868 Both parties are corrupt on the whole, however there are a few folks who beat to their own drum and don't go along with their party. Ron Paul in the Republican party and Dennis Kucinich in the Democratic party are examples. The abortion issue is so peripheral and is mostly just used to draw attention away from major issues.
Here is good joke : If you make me a nobel-PEACE-price-Winner, I go and bomb any country in the world, maybe we find some oil, haha, or we fuse some revolutions. And by the way we raising our arm trades, spend more money than ever on the military and shoot people with hightech-drones in poor countrys. Peaceprice well done.
Ya know, it's times like this I wish I had superpowers. You all have imagined it too, don't lie, seeing murderers like Tony Blair and Henry Kissinger and Dick Cheney tremble before you, staring death right in the face with no one to save their asses, you can't deny how totally satisfying that would be.
And there is only one issue that drags the left and the right together in US politics and it aint support for Bilderberg, but support for another, more powerful entity, which controls your media and controls your foreign policy.
you seen ron paul throwin up the hail satan........? i think he might be there back up plan bro........ the rabbit hole grows deeper my brothers and sistas
Ron Paul makes sense has a different message and won every debate. The families that control the media, 99% of our government and the most powerfull corporations will never allow an honest man make it to the presidency.
Your first five words answered it. You've either not read a book that Ron Paul has written, read laws he's introduced, or listened to him in anyway (in which case the answer is 'something', you are ignorant). Or your first suggestion is correct.
Ron has been out of Congress. I'm sure he has no problem delivering infants if the voters didn't select him.
Yeah! He votes 1 vs. everyone else in Congress on dozens of bills per year... that's 'as any other politician' to you! ! ! ! !
Read a book dude! Quit being a sheep ! Reason I 'delude' myself is I know he read books of masters I also read... von Mises, Say, Basiat, and more American forefathers than you or any Congressman can name.
Moreover. It matters how much you read. Because you didn't read Ron Paul's opinions, you don't know what Fox News has your sheep brain believing what they want about his opinions.
I read his opinions, plus the authors I mentioned before.
You can't say the same.
Keep having fantasies about how much better you'll be with the next republicrat, and that they aren't Eurocentric and neither is your education
Leave freedom to those that know who your current masters are.
@blue42421 mäh i donno if ron'd stay the same in office like obama all politicians say what it takes to get elected don't get me wrong i agree with many of his views and ideas but hilary used to be on the side of the people too till the drug companys bought her who knows if ron could resist if the price were right
@EdgeGeraldine If he just wanted to get elected he would change his views on foreign policy, than he would have a much better chance at winning the GOP nomination. He doesn't tell people what they want to hear, he just speaks the truth as he see's it and doesn't sway with political winds

Maybe I'm just stupid or something, but how is Ron Paul any different from Obama/McCain/Hillary/any other politician?
It's their goal to get elected, and they'll feed you any bullshit it takes to make it happen, 3rd party candidates included.

Right, the corporations who will have free reign under Ron Paul are keeping from getting elected.
Exactly.

keeping him from getting elected

The big corporations don't want free reign. They want government to stifle the competition.
But Ron Paul is either disengenuous or or deluded.
And in any case, if he was serious, there would be a revolt or assainaton.
The thugs feeding off our blood don't take kindly to loosing all that stolen cash.

Here's an idea.
He lost. Stop sucking him off.
He never stood a chance, and he'd be just as corrupt as any other politician.
You're just stupid enough to delude yourself otherwise.

It's funny that you call me a sheep, when I'm not affiliated with any political ideology or belief.
You can't say the same.
Moreover, it doesn't matter how much the bastard knows or has read. He would be just as corrupt as anyone else when he gets into power.
Keep having fantasies about how much better you'd be off if your buddy were in power.

Why would I ever watch Fox News?
Here's a hint: I'm not conservative by any stretch.
It doesn't matter what he tells you or how much he's read or whatever the fuck you think qualifies him.
Is he capable of lying and being corrupt?
Then more than likely he will be.
And I love how Libertarians throw around the word "freedom" as if it means anything.
I don't agree with you, and suddenly I'm a freedom hating commie.
And yes, I do know what he's said. I used to think he was sane. That changed
