I disagree with you having a tough start, you seemed to get good city captures, and if you didn't have a good start I believe it would have been characterized by another player capturing thebes.

My gamertag is ABG blitzkrieg, never really played civ revs, was too late to the party. However I played Halo wars so i know good a player Miz(hes pretty good at sc2 now as well) so kudos for beating him, and an enjoyable game overall.

You're using the Zulu, it's not impressive in the slightest, they are a cheap civ that any moron can use effectively.

@EnglishHuscarl This was when the game was very new, and before everyone started copying my style. At that time I was the only regular Zulu player, the top 25 were everything but and Zulus were considered weak.

Also if you actually watched the video you'd see that I did not get a good start at all. Zulus have to get their warrior armies out early and get all the barbs / goodie huts, but there were very few near me. I was also going against two other top players of the time.

@MaskedGamer I've had this game since it first came out, the Zulu have never been considered weak. You've lost all credibility by saying such a stupid thing, their ancient bonus has always been huge in a turn based strategy game, huge and glaringly obvious.

I had debates with the top players, and I do not ever recall seeing your name anywhere on the official forums, civfanatics, etc. I know what I'm talking about here.

The only reason other people started playing Zulu actively is because they saw my warrior rushes. Until then people considered Zulu warrior armies weak.

Yea, nobody freaking plays multiplayer when it's a nice break from shooters and just because it's not rated M doesn't mean it's not good. GET THE GAME AND MEET MEEE ON MULTIPLAYER CAUSE NOBODY PLAYS IT AND I GET PISSED OFF. Theres a reason why its on Games on demand on xbox people. TRY DEMO AND GET IT.

After the unification between upper and lower egypt, the capital of upper egypt, thebes, became the capital. And that was a good 1.5 thousand years before the greeks even really existed.

Also, same argument, Alexander was of the Macedonians, not the Greeks.

true, its not Sony's fault, its a Civ problem, since the game released, they made 2 patches but its still a mess. As you can see in this video, the 360 version has problems aswell. Just not as much as the PS3 version

Yes, I did stop playing. My stats disappeared from the #1 spot after I took a week and a half off, and that pretty much turned me off from the ladder. 2K was unable to figure out if there was a way to get my stats restored, so I've moved on to other games.

With that said, I still think Civ : Rev is great fun, and I plan to play it on and off.

I always play Zulu on Head to Head, and I really love their fast Impis, bonus to Gold, and growth as well. Overrun also comes in very handy! :)

Yep. If the Zulu have a 3:1 advantage over the enemy, they overrun them without a fight.

Other civs have a greater requirement for overrun. (Can't remember it exactly. I think it's 7:1 or 6:1.)
