Apparently, it's easier to keep a larger marine than it is small. It's to do with if anything goes wrong in the aquarium, it happens rapidly, where as a bigger one, you get a bit of time to fix it, such as nitrates, dead coral poisoning the tank, gravity, etc. You have to get the balance of RO water and salt and gravity of it pretty much error free, but he keeps this marine one pretty much to a weekly water change, and checks the water now and again, so pretty easy once your to grips with it.
get a skimmer...weekly water changes eliminated
