This is the song that got my all-time favorite American Idol contestant eliminated. I did a group karaoke performance of that song at an annual karaoke performance at a state mental institution with my father and a woman outside my family.
This should be required listening for all kids 10-15yrs of age . so they know the diff between good music and the crap they call music now.thanks for the memories.Miss the good stuff.
Good Memories. When I was 13, in '71 this song kept running through my head..I spent the week with my cousin Susan Olsen (Brady Bunch) hanging out on the set because I knew Bobby Sherman was scheduled to work on the Mod Squad set next door, and I was a HUGE Bobby fan. Day after day went by and he didn't show for a week--so this song kept going through my head..I'll Be There..'He was.
@cynmarie33 This show does bring back memoires i was 15 in 1971-i miss shows like the Mod Squad televison today is a joke-we were blessed to have growned up in the cool 70's
i grew up with the jackson 5 saw how the passage of time changed not just this talented family but all of us. not for the better obviously what a damn shame. hold on the rides gonna get rougher
I love the video on Youtube of MJ watching Diana Ross perform all her hits - the look of respect he gives her is just priceless. You can tell he knows where his fame came from - the people that came before him that inspired him.
:( always chokes me up x

Michael Jackson sang, the world hoped.
Michael Jackson danced, the world smiled.
Michael Jackson laughed, the world laughed.
Michael Jackson died, the world cried, but sang, danced, laughed because we know that's what he would've wanted.
Michael Jackson was Michael Jackson, and always will be.
We are all Michael Jackson when we cry, sing, dance and laugh.
Post this on every Michael Jackson video you see today, and thumbs up if you agree with this.
