@alexrendon00 Yeah, I noticed that after I uploaded it and while I could find the full unedited version, the 1st part's got like 30,000 views so its not really worth it.
@DimmedDiamond I thought the ending was a brilliant decision. There have been about 60000 WWII movies and it's refreshing to see one that totally goes against your expectations. It's also nice to see someone with the balls to completely change history.
@BrideAndGroomFilmsHD Past lives is something not many people believe in and it's his own understanding of the world around him, it's a philosophical world view that I'm sure he doubts and questions from time to time. Not believing in God however is very impressive because Atheists are a very small minority in the world and to break away from the mainstream worldview is something to praise. He was always a genius to me because of his films, but a Freethinker on top of that...
@futurestoryteller Atheism is a sign of intelligence, maybe to you conformity is more important than intellect. If that's the case I apologize for offending you.
@SkateFastRockHard true, but sometimes a directors beliefs come out in his films. classic examples are Ingmar Bergman, Lars Von Trier, David Cronenberg and Mel Gibson.
@SkateFastRockHard I don't understand what you are saying because your grammar is awful. To be clear, my point was that religious affiliation affects the creative process of artists. Ingmar Bergman and other brilliant atheists vocalize their beliefs in their work. Deeply religious people like Mel Gibson do the same. Mel Gibson is a classic example which why I listed him. I do not admire his beliefs in any way nor am I particularly partial to his work as a director.
English is my third language so sorry if im mispelling things or using bad gramar I probably can speak more languages than you No what you said was I thought he was an genius now that hes an atheist Im not sure .. Most atheist are alot smarter than religous people because they dont believe they can telepathicly talk to an imaginary friend up in the sky they believe inpregnated a virgin woman and they dont believe stupid things like a man walked on water
@richie8811 "I can indeed hardly see how anyone ought to wish Christianity to be true; for if so the plain language of the text seems to show that the men who do not believe, and this would include my Father, Brother and almost all my best friends, will be everlastingly punished. And this is a damnable doctrine." Charles Darwin. Darwin wasn't a christian at all. he was at the very least agnostic and at most an atheist. do your homework before you argue.
Inglorious Basterds was a mediocre film in my opinion and falsely advertised as well. Tarantino is talking up the film as "an Apache resistance behind German lines during WW2" yet that isn't what its about. Its a secondary subplot in the movie, but the real story is about this young women secretly plotting to get back at the man who killed her family and inadvertently winning the war for the allies. The basterds are secondary in the movie.
@DanMichaelSoul No, But that is something that I always get agitated about everytime I watch the movie. I just feel like I was sold something that wasn't actually true. Even Tarantino was in on the scam. In the media he always talked about the Basterds role in the movie and did interviews with Brad Pitt. He never talked about Shossana's role in the film and its importance or if he did he didn't focus on it. Just look at this interview. Never once does that part of the movie come up.
@poquirian did you notice the word "also" in my #3?
If there is only 2 words in the title and everyone is talking about the "basterds" spelling, then I wouldn't have to waste my time repeating that BOTH words are misspelled. The fact that a lot of people dwell on the spelling of bastards (not basterds) more than inglorious (and not inglourious) says a lot about society, don't you think?
@doomed2obscurity theyr real, honest and normal.not some fuckin shit where you sit infront of some old dick in a suit with "fans" looking on and laughing at fuck all
Howard seems so awed that Quentin was able to hang out with the Holy Brad Pitt, but I think he's forgeting that he's talking to Quentin Tarantino. One of the most famous movie stars in the world talking to one of the most famous movie directors in the world is not unusual in the least. If anything, directors are higher-up in the Hollywood food chain- they're the employers. Brad's just a very in-demand employee.
@bozodeathgod I'm jealous of a Gargoyle faced hack of a film maker, who chooses to compensate for his lack of ideas by ripping off the ideas and styles of other film makers, and by kissing the collective sweaty assholes of Jewish run hollywood by making a laughable "yid revenge flick"? Keep trying...
@spxeli Well I do like a few of Tarantino's films, but I feel, and I'm sure I'm not alone, that at this point in his career anything that passes through his colon is considered gold, no matter how badly written or sloppily put together that turd might be. Inglorious Basterds was not a remarkable film in any way, it just pandered to the right audience and was given enough fake hype to coerce people into thinking that it was somehow brilliant...
I have a feeling Brad is going to get sick of all those kids and Angelina. She seems like she can be a real bitch. Lol. It's cool though that the two of them sat and drank and smoked hash. Awesome.
they took off the hash part..fuckheads!

Lol poor Quentin. He's so used to doing interviews where he talks about movies, movies, and naming 200 movies that you've never heard of.
Then you try to get him to talk about real-life stuff and he locks up like a stuttering, big kid.
That being said, Howard comes off like Perez Hilton at some points in this interview.

@DoubleTalkingJive In what ways did he "lock up"?

Howard does the best interviews, this is awesome.

The ending was a big problem. He shouldn't have based the film in an alternate universe, it's too much fantasy, too detached. Terrible decision.
