First of all i noticed Macs have a significant amount of buttons missing, including the right click and many other keys. The keys that are there are badly labeled, Backspase is delete in Mac. i have a windows 7 desktop pc with overclocked cpu and gpu totaling to 20,000 3dmark06 score hooked up to a 36" full hd monitor. all of this for about $1500. i can't see a mac ever beating this.but i do own a macbook pro laptop and i must say i love it, very reliable fast and handsome. but a mac will never beat a pc. Also windows vista was the only operating system in the past decade that was problematic.
@immortal4942 It's a kind of tendency with MS. Based on my past experiences, every 2nd OS works as well as it was initially intended. Just for the last 3 examples: XP-works like a charm. Vista-A tad bit problematic, though curable with knowledge, and Service patches. W7-Works like a charm on steroids.

70FPS is all fine and dandy, provided the visuals match up. I've also given OnLive a spin,for about 5 minutes. I don't consider an 800x600 resolution with muddy textures, DX9-level graphics and jaggies to be the "right" way to play. ou are a Mac gamer, so you're used to having to sacrifice visual quality for the sake of playability, but this isn't an issue to a PC owner. It's why the new $1999 27" iMac got bested by a $1000 PC in a Starcraft II comparison with an 84FPS lead.

Well I have a Mac and a pc with windows 7 AND Linux UBUNTU. I use mac for designe stuffs, when I need to do ingenier stufs i pic Windows 7 (Solid works, Solid edge, AutoCAD, Proteus, LABView, etc) and when i need to do something for networking I take my UBUNTU.
i have never had a single problem with my windows 7 pc. no blue screens, or any of that shit. + my mac friends are jealous cause i can actually play games

@wilyo64 my windows 7 will lose the network connection if theres too many youtube thumbnails, or google images results. if i leave it on for 24hours the network connection will get so slow you can't watch youtube videos without constant buffering.
I use both, Mac and a PC. Though I prefer *NIX like systems such as Linux, BSD (OS X is a version of BSD), UNIX itself I don't ignore nor dislike Windows. The fact that Windows has so many viruses and stuff is due to 70% desktop market coverage and wide popularity among regular people. But that's the one of the reasons why you can't find any Windows server that does serious stuff and also a fact why not so many computer professionals use Windows.
Windows 7 is fucking amazing. I've never had a problem with it at all, it's perfectly stable and I have no compatability issues at all. If you're into gaming nothing compares to windows ultimate 64-bit.

i have a windows 7 desktop pc with overclocked cpu and gpu totaling to 20,000 3dmark06 score hooked up to a 36" full hd monitor. all of this for about $1500. i can't see a mac ever beating this.but i do own a macbook pro laptop and i must say i love it, very reliable fast and handsome. but a mac will never beat a pc. Also windows vista was the only operating system in the past decade that was problematic.

@immortal4942 It's a kind of tendency with MS. Based on my past experiences, every 2nd OS works as well as it was initially intended. Just for the last 3 examples: XP-works like a charm. Vista-A tad bit problematic, though curable with knowledge, and Service patches. W7-Works like a charm on steroids.

70FPS is all fine and dandy, provided the visuals match up. I've also given OnLive a spin,for about 5 minutes. I don't consider an 800x600 resolution with muddy textures, DX9-level graphics and jaggies to be the "right" way to play. ou are a Mac gamer, so you're used to having to sacrifice visual quality for the sake of playability, but this isn't an issue to a PC owner. It's why the new $1999 27" iMac got bested by a $1000 PC in a Starcraft II comparison with an 84FPS lead.

Well I have a Mac and a pc with windows 7 AND Linux UBUNTU. I use mac for designe stuffs, when I need to do ingenier stufs i pic Windows 7 (Solid works, Solid edge, AutoCAD, Proteus, LABView, etc) and when i need to do something for networking I take my UBUNTU.
MAC: Girlyshhhh

I use both, Mac and a PC. Though I prefer *NIX like systems such as Linux, BSD (OS X is a version of BSD), UNIX itself I don't ignore nor dislike Windows. The fact that Windows has so many viruses and stuff is due to 70% desktop market coverage and wide popularity among regular people. But that's the one of the reasons why you can't find any Windows server that does serious stuff and also a fact why not so many computer professionals use Windows.

Windows 7 is fucking amazing. I've never had a problem with it at all, it's perfectly stable and I have no compatability issues at all. If you're into gaming nothing compares to windows ultimate 64-bit.
