  • omg i was like ohh this kid is good, then i read "andy murray"...

  • fucking consistent

  • like Murray

  • I have that kind of forehand and backhand too. But i couldn't consistent my forehand and backhand like that.. can you give me some tips?

  • @zacker95 practise ;)

  • most consistent prick in tennis

  • the last shot was a disaster, shiiitttttt

  • うめえな

  • I can watch it all day!

  • Como consigue tanta aceleracion D: y eso que dicen que el le da suave

  • Was he working with Brad Gilbert around this time?

  • Shows how powerful the pro's groundstrokes are and Andy's strokes are hard and precise. Yet he is considered a counter puncher and is not a strong player. Makes you wonder how much you gotta practice to become a pro...

  • what a good playerrr..!!!!!!!!!!

  • very good sound !!

  • this was the best rally i ever saw in my life

  • 1:41 sneaky winner

  • i know that i can hit a ball this hard on my forehand, but how they do it so consistently and with so much accuracy just amazes me.

  • I'd love to see a tournament where these modern players use wooden racquets. I'ts just violent thrashing with these modern racquets, it's not quite tennis.

  • definitely the most demanding ball sport, but each is very difficult in it's own right. It is remarkable how television takes away from the ball height/path/speed/spin/etc...the angled camera view down into the court really is the worst. However I sat basically courtside for a Murray/Ferrero match in Montreal 2009 and was quite impressed at how much net clearance he actually got on his strokes, especially compared to Ferrero.

  • the only problem is that they do not hit this low to the net during a real match

  • The most difficult ball sport in the world – in my opinion – made look easy...

  • This is Sick ¡¡¡

  • They are only showing my views! xD go murray!

  • This IS how they play in competitions, its just it looks much slower on tv

  • I wish he would have played like this in the australian open final

  • which racquet is he playing with

  • film it in HD

  • speed,power .......very,very good !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ugly face hitting beautiful strokes you are great player except your uglyness and shoutings

  • LOL: That man on video seems a lot like Andy Murray :P

  • this training is no doubt better better and better that i´m making sometimes with my friends....

  • sick

  • fail at 1:42

  • the other player is james blake?

  • c'mon murray, stop making every shot seem so easy

  • Whoa!!! Incredible hitting!

  • We can all learn one thing from this. When Andy is not nervous, he finishes almost all of his forehands out in front, aggressively. When he is nervous (AO final 2010,2011), he finishes them Rafa-style, over-the-head. That is why he cannot win a set in a grand slam final.

  • While watching the video I learned to play Andy's style of play. :]

  • You watch this thinking how incredible it is at the amount of pace that the pros can generate but what is more incredible is that Andy Murray isn't even a "power" player. Just goes to show how great the pros are.

  • @QSmit092 actually he did hit the fastest recorded forehand of all time...124 mph. The power in this video isn't surprising.

  • I liked the part when he hit the tennis ball.

  • On my backhand slice I use a continental grip and it feels so natural but I tried murrays grip and it feels very weird.. Any thoughts ?

  • @Bladerunner55217 because it is weird. Murray uses a continental slice grip just like fed, nadal, and djokovic

  • @Bladerunner55217 he's using a continental... fingers are choked up and spread out like the pros do.

  • about time i find a video with a full court view and a steady cameraman

  • Comment removed

  • He's consistently top 5 for a reason.

  • i would hate to be the ball

  • i wonder why its soo much more topspin during matches ...

  • @kousseye155 Because during training they are more relaxed, in matches is a diferent history, they have presion so they can't hit equally as the training sessions

  • AMAZING

  • Such body ballance can't bee coached, if you haven't got it you aint´n learn it. Nice slice backhand he's got.

  • So smooth and controlled. Never looks like he over hits anything.

  • why cant there be a video like this for all good pros???

  • He can put pace on his shots and play aggressively, so why is he still playing so defensively?!

  • who is he hitting with? alex corretja?

  • @ludtke337

    I think so

  • Beautiful strokes!

  • This is the kind of hitting consistency it takes to be #3 or #4 in the world.

  • @A550RGY does that mean his partner can also be 3 or 4?

  • @napoleanboots His partner isn't hitting it as hard or placing it as consistently as he is... or doing it while on the run.

  • I have to be honest with myself , I enjoy hitting way more than winning :)

  • Comment removed

  • aimless hitting

    rubbish

  • @testcv yeh i know. it's almost like they're rallying...

  • Comment removed

  • @bayohh39 yup i do play tennis. it's called CROSS COURT rallying and DOWN THE LINE rallying.

  • @testcv true. no point of practicing a style if ur not going to use it during a match

  • @testcv hahaha

  • federer's technique is way better

  • All I can say is wow.

  • I learnt my forehand and backhand slice just from watching this vid alone!

  • @ProcyonAlpha i dont think u should be learning a forehand from andy murray. his technique is not too good

  • @FeDXeGX hmmm you're a pro are you?

  • @indyk91 no. u dont need to be a genius to know that murray doesn't have a great technique

  • @FeDXeGX he has extremely good technique. thats why he's a pro.

  • @FeDXeGX why doesn't he? whats he doing wrong?

  • @whay why? whats wrong with it?

  • Sounds like a gun going off when the hit the ball

  • ANDY RIPIGLIATI!!!!!

  • すげーの一言w

  • @readmystupidcomments hahahha lame response. good, er, bad job. Brits dont' bother. you bother me -- just seeing what kind of response i could get out of you. you're just a badly built toy that no one wants anymore. go get used by someone else now. it' s ok. YOUR CHILDREN? LMAO. i'd love to see the day that sewer rats could live in society. i guess there's an affirmative action in the UK as well. *sigh* for egalitarianism. you're lame insults stink as much your family heritage. bye.

  • @readmystupidcomments my camel? what kind of sand-nigger statement is that? i suppose it's coming from some sort of quasi-refined, douche-Brit who's as confused about his sexuality and background as he is about his race, assuming you have enough balls to be considered a he.

  • @readmystupidcomments oh, i knew what country it was, "mate". i just wanted to see if you actually had the nerve to type it out considering the racist, homosexual, ironically homophobic, idiotic, carpetmunching, lonesome, still-40-and-living-in-a-flat-your-mom-owns faggot you are. and i'm from Tunisia -- by the look of things you can't read or write yourself you hypocritical moron.

  • @readmystupidcomments too bad you don't have a country listed in your profile people could make .. or wait, maybe that's because no one wants you.

  • awesome footage. i didn't really care 'bout Andy Murray before this. but i just love how i can see all his hard work and clearly defined strokes. thanks for the upload!

  • Look how Murray hits the ball! He should be a Tennis-pro! Lol!

  • @mandisgoj im pretty sure he is

  • @DunShootPlz I'm obviously joking *doh*. I'm from sweden and I think that Murray is great. He's good that old scotsman, but he's no Söderling (obviously another joke since Murrey is ranked higher on the ATP than Söderling are).

  • I love the sound effect indoor courts give.

  • i wish i could hit with such consistency -__-

  • he's not even hitting full out yet.

  • way too talented to not win a grand slam, hope andy wins one this year

  • @PROTLxONgame nadal is better

  • @readmystupidcomments you realize this guy's name is read my stupid comments? i'm pretty sure he just likes being a nuisance

  • who's he hitting with?

  • Well to me it looks like James Blake...... he has a onehander

  • man only if Murray would hit this deep in his matches, he would be pretty unstoppable... right now murray is hitting too short against big hitters.

  • hippo

  • ?? that doesnt even make sense.....

  • Zero Racquet head speed? ummm no, thats just wrong. the charisma part and arrogant... eh, im not arguing with that. and the rest of it is just racist aganst scottish people so...

  • I could just watch this all day its so good. Andy Murry as a person is really not that entertaining, but as a tennis player he's awesome.

  • nice bro ... but i play to " one hand "

  • if you noticed, he was just not rallying

andy had to hit a certain spot everytime, while his opponent played normal

  • not necessarily normal, it's 2 backhands, one forehand, 2 backhands, one forehand....

i wish i had a coach like that guy!

  • He is using a semi-western grip right?

  • your right in some ways djokovic power but your also very ignorant and dumb for calling him a beginner when fed can hit flat because he takes it early but he also can hit alot of topspin and he does with that wrist flick he has and his contact point just watch him play closely and you will see what im talking about but you probably wont be able to see then anyways sucks for you i guess

  • both murray's and federer's slices are leagues above the rest of the players' slices.

  • It's hypnotising!

  • woah! this is so good to watch...I think we can all learn a lot from him!

  • Love watching him play..........

  • I've played on that court!!!!

  • he need more depth on his backhand topspin.

  • hmm what is the floor made of seems hollow to me

  • great, great, great footwork

  • THX for a good vid for rally practices. I will use it to show pro's stroke to my kids.

  • Great Vid love it

  • amazing video, really good

  • is he hitting with james blake?

  • hes hitting your dad in the ass and hes going AH UNH OH YEAH THATS THE STUFF

  • Looks exactly like james. hitting style, Big ass, body type, yeah thats got to be him.

  • i dont think it is james, the take bak on his forehand is way to big for james blake

  • Nope, different forehand.

  • no, backswing is too far back.

  • however, you are spot-on about almost everything else.

  • Lol his hitting style is different. and yes i was right about Everything else, haha.

  • douchebag

  • faggot retard

  • faggot retard

  • your mom is a faggot retard bitch

  • damn that's some beautiful hitting from both parties.

  • the things i'd do to hit like that

  • practise?

  • but of course, how very obvious

  • Nice forehand.

  • Comment removed

  • o.o

  • cuz ur a douche, go murray!

  • Who is this guy?

    I'd kill him!

    Lol Kidding!

  • Murrays backhand is so clean, his swing motion almost never changes.

  • hardly any margin over the net, i hope he got rock of a mental game lol

  • Murray, you are sooooooooo good.

  • his parther have to play professional tennis ... is good

  • i think its his brother. hes a pro too but mostly plays doubles. very little singles

  • what a great, consistent hitting partner

  • 1:44 :)

  • One thing I didn't notice after watching this video for the first 5 times... Andy returns the ball RIGHT to the guy every time. The guy barely moves. Nice accuracy!

  • thats kinda why its just practice? who the hell hits winners during practice

  • Uh.... I was complimenting Andy's accuracy.

And tons of people hit winners during practice, lol, but that has nothing to do with my original comment.

  • they should use this camera view in real matches

  • Yes, like not all the time but occasionally it would be nice to see how the ball really is going throught he air! TV does tennis no justice.

  • This is such a good video, he hits the ball so nicely everytime

  • ever since i played tennis, i thought flat was better, but when i looked closely starting this year i looked closer to pros and saw that topspin is better.

  • wrong

  • no stupid pros put alot of spin if u r experienced, ur probably a dinker whos a beginner who sucks balls

  • @DjokovicPower i think your a dumbass who does not no what he's talking about. And if you think that not all pros put a lot of top spin then you really are a dumbass. All pros naturally put on a lot of top spin b/c of thier skills. Nadal just has to much top spin in the game he's top spin is his specialty so do yourself a favor and shut up

  • how could you think flat was better? you could always have the risk of hitting it long in a rally. plus, more chance of hitting the net with not a high enough net clearance. plus, topspin puts a fast forward spin on the ball so your opponent needs to be ready for that.

    topspin is tennis..now.

  • flat is very effective. more topspin means more air, which means more time for your oppenont to get to the ball. the flatter and earlier you hit the ball the harder it is for your opponent to get to the ball. federer hits it pretty flat.

  • Federer hits the second most spinniest ball right after Nadal.

  • If it's a person who hits flat consistently *aka Andre*, it's more effective.

And it all depends what you mean by "effective".

  • He's unbelievably consistent.

  • And you wander why his on the big bucks!

  • simple take off..beautiful stroke on the ball..murray is cool
