The entire pink floyd sound is due to rick and his keyboards , david was the heart , Roger the driving force and Nick the peacekeeper , But rick was the soul
Many of us were already in a deep pain of PF breakup.... but Rick... you've given us the endless pain of a lost hope... hope to see you play again with a reunited band... you've abandoned us in this gloomy and cold hopelessness... perhaps you couldn't imagine that how much I love you... how much all these Floydelics love you? It's that sort of pain deep down in my heart that can't be expressed...
Rick amazing ,always so calm and nice,i think he held the pain inside, and since they put him on contract as a floyd member that hurt him a lot, very respectable man and a great musician great creator of sound in the floyd love you Rick
THERE RESTS IN PEACE DARLING WRIGHT You were one of the musicians mas influential and you were entering the history of the world music and thank you for having given me the privilege of listening to yourself when you were in life, in this precious(beautiful) band PINK FLOYD THANK YOU!!!!!!! atte Rodrigo Omar
LONDON-Pink Floyd keyboard player, member Richard Wright died on Monday after a short battle with cancer. He was 65. Wright, guitarist Roger Waters and drummer Nick Mason founded the band that became Pink Floyd in the 1960s. Pink Floyd went on to become one of the biggest names in rock. "The family of Richard Wright, founder member of Pink Floyd, announce with great sadness, that Richard died today after a short struggle with cancer.
My sincere condolences for one of the greats. :-(* RIP
Actually, I see Broken China quite often. I love Rick Wright alot for his music and inspiration but, his 1984 album ZEE was horrible and way to poppy sounding. But his first solo album Wet Dream in 1978 is great, and Broken China is quite emotional and dark as you can hear from this song right now...
Love never dies... it exist in a quieter place of the heart.

What would "Dark Side of the Moon" (or Pink Floyd, for that matter) have been like without Rick? That's a scary thought.
