I'll always prefer the original although I do like the remake up until they show Hayden Christiansen. I really didn't like his acting in I, II, and III. I thought it was horrible and I don't think he deserves to be in the original trilogy, especially since Sebastian Shaw only had 2 small parts in the whole movie.

I know that Anakin was "Killed" when he turned to the dark side, but going by that logic, he was brought back to life when he killed Sidious and saved his son. So yeah, no excuses for that. I am not one to hate on the prequels or the re-edit of the originals. Sure, I hate that Han didn't shoot first, but it doesn't make me hate the edited version of the film. As for the prequels, they were not that bad. You have to understand that they are made for people who were born in the 90's, for the most part. Now, we all know the original trilogy is better, but the prequels aren't as bad as anyone makes them out to be. About Hayden being the ghost though, it really doesn't make sense.

Obi-Wan talks about how it binds the universe and everyone together, but then Qui-Gon basically says that some people are pre-determined to be stronger. In the Originals, it was taught that strength comes from practice, but the prequels teach that it is determined from birth. And I do agree that he needs to stop editing the films. Only change that I think should've been made was the song because I honestly think it is better.

To me, it makes more sense that they include Hayden Christensen at the end. That's who he was when he was actually Anakin Skywalker. When he became Darth Vader, there was no part of Anakin left until Luke brought it out in him at the very end of Jedi. You only get that one little scene with Sebastian Shaw, but the audience is more familiar with Hayden's character. It makes more sense to me that he is the incarnation of Anakin seen at the end, finally at peace with the force.

@hpnatalie This is a better ending than the original one. A lot of people are complaining since Anakin is young again (not at his older age when he died). This scene is supposed to represent Anakin BEFORE he was converted to the dark side. At Anakin's old age, he was corrupted by the dark side. Showing him young again shows him at a point during his life when he was a Jedi.
