@XeeGen I have faith that, if any crew can make such changes to the cast of a show work, it's the CM team.

I know many don't like Seaver, but when they're finally not so bitter about JJ and now Emily, I think they'll grow to like her...it wouldn't make sense for her to immediately gel with the team anyway, would it?

I miss the Season 2 and on gang, but the show is still wonderful.

@willkillyoulast I definitly agree, still one of the best procedurals around. But it's not just Seaver, I never really liked Rossi either. I actually stopped watching CM because of Rossi but I can stand him nowadays. There were some amazing episodes in later seasons like "100" and the one with the terrorist group and the bomb (can't think of the name) but overall I think the first seasons, until Gideon left, were well beyond the ones that followed. But that's just my opinion ofcourse ;)

I know what you mean, though I like Rossi simply because he's not a 'replacement' in any way, except in terms of cast. As a character, he's far different to Gideon.

Characters, for me, are the heart of the show...I'll miss Gideon, JJ and Emily and maybee even Elle sometimes, but as long as the new cast have depth to their characters, I'll be happy, y'know?
