  • Until right now I never thought about any of this. Glod Bless you, Karl Pilkington. You poor, stupid man.

  • I love at 2:23 they use the animal that he created; the head of an owl, armadillo body, movement of a slug and peacock feathers. These cartoon versions are great, they really add something special to it all.

  • Oh for fffuuuu

  • He means that there are less noises than things to make noise.

  • when a new frog comes out :')

  • I saw a program not that long ago about a bird that could imitate noises it had heard, almost perfectly. So in a sense, the bird that sounds like a Ford Escort is real!!

  • @Gasoline85 The bird Karl is getting confused with is the Lyrebird of Australia. And it's not sounding like a Ford Escort lol, they mimic the sound of bulldozers that destroy the forests around them. They can mimic almost any sound. But that sound has to be present. Anyway, feel free to search youtube for Lyrebird videos.

  • @MrSiiKez That's what I meant. I know it has to have heard the sound before it can imitate it. But suppose a Ford Escort came by (I know it's a bit far out), in theory it could imitate that sound. ^_^

  • your ripping of the chicken you cunt xD

  • "COMES OUT"?!(^o^).

I love karls train of thought.

  • I think hes talking about sound frequencies and how limited the range is because he is comparing it to the vast amount different sounds there are, so the probabillity of reusing the same frequency it higher.

  • @lastxp

Everything that comes out of Karl's facehole is essentially a Zen Buddhist Koan: It sounds like utter nonsense or garbage by itself, but when you actually make the effort to understand it, it's the most brilliant thing imaginable.

  • That's what's great about Karl: Not always right, but never quite wrong!

  • I understand all of his theories.. Im scared..

  • Showed this to my mom. She was actually genuinely concerned for Karl's idiocy...

  • WHY CAN I UNDERSTAND WHAT KARLS N ABOUT ALL THE TIME??!

  • 2:35 brilliant!

  • Gervais was gonna so "Oh for, fuck's sake!" haha

  • This is right next to Schopenhauer's "On Noise"--genius!

  • Steve's laugh

  • I quite enjoy the sound the "owl-head pea-cock feathered-thing" makes.

  • i get it.

  • The thing is, I complete understand most of what Karl says. His logic is superb but still nothing he says makes sense. It's so strange.

  • what i dont get is that they all make fun of him but he is smarter than all of them together he has reason behind everything!

  • @alexab4 No hes not.... He has no knowledge, he reads headlines of stories and makes up the rest as he suits, Even if he did have knowledge, he has no application to that knowledge. He undoubtedly has the IQ of a moron, He has childs logic, and people who seem to think hes a genius in disguise are just kidding themselves.

  • @x420Raptor1 he is a genius... only that he says brilliant shit in dumb way, thats all.

  • biggest load of horseshit he's ever said, even beats out the chimp eye doctor and octopus getting in a jar

  • i love how he says " Oh it's th theories "

  • You're rippin' off the turkey, ya cunt!

  • Karl's ultimate animal at 2:19

  • The new iFrog 4s

  • ..is it bad if you think karls on to something here?

  • this really is the biggest load of nonsense karl has ever come up with, it literally blew my mind the moment he said, "every noise in the world has been made at least five times" , maybe if i was high i'd understand him haha

  • well I think he means that every individual sound wave that could ever exist has been produced

so absolutely every variation in a waves formation from frequency, amplitude, wavelength and velocity has existed at least 5 times before

  • karl is correct

  • Poor Karl, I understood what he meant.

  • @ixlikexscurvy so did i lol

  • 1:11 I dont know what that means!!! that one kills me!!! Hahahaha

  • Love the way steve towers over everyone like reality

  • "Why not pick another noise." Haha, I love how Karl thinks inanimate objects make conscious decisions

  • The saddest thing about this is that it's actuallt true. When have u ever heard a noise and thought youve never heard it before

  • I think Karl Pilkington is simply a genius who just has trouble expressing himself.

  • YEMEMEMEMÄÄÄ YEMEMEMEMÄÄÄ

  • I love that the animal at 2.19 is the animal Karl makes up. Brilliant.

  • I don't get what's not to understand? Pretty simple concept really. (Doesn't mean it's not funny)

  • I'm doing Psychology work while listening to this. We have to take a hypothesis, and then go through a 5-step-process testing it. I'm using Karl's "Less deaf people die of stress" hypothesis.

  • you gotta love karl

  • Karl is an idiot XD

  • @ 1:58 LOL that noise Ricky makes is hilarious

  • classic stuff!

  • the chicken? you're ripping off the turkey ya cunt!

  • a new frog 2:06 lol wat ya say

  • Which came first, the chicken or the escort?

  • So funny

  • Oh hey, it's the owl-headed-peacock-feathered-thing!

  • @minitacomanofdoom Now we discover that the owl-headed-peacock-feathered-thing sounds like a chicken or a Ford Escort.

  • @minitacomanofdoom haha yea noticed

  • I think I understand Karl's point here very well. Basically the point is that every sound being emitted as a result of an event has a certain frequency, wavelength, amplitude and so on which determine how that sound will be percieved by, in this case, a human ear. If we assume the number of variations discernable to the human ear to be finite, there must come a point where the number of times any audible noise has been emitted exceeds this number of possible variations.

    See?

  • @Jornev I understand his point, there's only x amount of possible sounds and so they will all be used up eventually. But c'mon, it's still bollocks and pretty funny :)

  • i love how steve finds it funnier than ricky. + the high-pitched laughter was adorable!

  • anybody got a picture of suzanne? i'm curious to see what she looks like

  • Karl makes it's sound like new breeds of frogs come out like new generations of ipods.

Personally i'm waiting for a new frog that comes with bluetooth.

  • A new frog comes out

  • there are only a limited amount of sounds, as there are a limited amount of colours. I think thats what hes on about.

  • @GauntV Wonder what a new color or sound would sound/look like :)

  • @GauntV yh I kind of get the jist of what he is on about but it is still one of karls classic MENTAL concepts that not even himself can explain properly

  • @GauntV Yea its really not that hard to understand

  • Comment removed

  • @GauntV But there aren't a limited number.

  • @lostship47 Karl has a point though.

  • the best thing ever

  • I think he is trying to say for every sound there is, atleast 5 different objects/living things make that sound.

and no new sound could be invented

  • I understand what he means, he just has problems explaining it.

  • @AlexDCl could you explain it please

  • Soooo funny. Karl basically means that for everything in the world it has a noise. And he's saying that eventually things will run out of noises and the same noises will have to be used again like a Ford escort in a new breed of frog XD

  • The noises Ricky makes at 2:00 is now my ringtone.

  • @Mankind081 Crikey! Me too!

  • its actually a sort of interesting idea

  • I love 2:06. Comes out?

  • 1:55 gets me every time hahaha

  • a new frog comes out

  • it makes you want to understand him doesn't it? - I never used t like this show and now i get addicted to it, I find it hard not to join in and laugh AT karl WITH ricky and stephen - genius.

  • Where on earth does Karl find this information?

'They say that every noise has been used at least five times'!!!

    WHAT?
