gaboons have a very pretty scale pattern, i would keep a venomous snake but i feel like my drunk friends would always think it is a good idea to play with it, and i wouldn't have the energy to drive them to the hospital after they get back from the bar at 2-3 am
@RobSchneeberger also, is there an advantage to feeding dead vs alive or is it all preference to the snake or the keeper i would prefer a live meal if i was a snake.;.
I have gabbies and rhinos, and I was wondering something about hybrids, and since you have them you might know the answer. Arent hybrids more dangerous than just a gabby or a rhino because wouldnt the hybrid of the two snakes also have a hybrid of their venom...although i assume they bot have similar venoms, i know gabby venom has Haemorrhagin (causes pulmonary oedema) Cardiotoxin (permanently damages heart) but i am unsure of the components of rhino viper venom...
wow legs and all haha, i woulda atleast cut them off to make her meal a little nicer but im no snake expert. how deadly is this snake in terms of her venom?
I love your Gaboons....Death...She is such a cute snake!! I just wonna kiss her on the lips - I hope she doesn't envenomate me though! haha. And no worries...Getting bit is part of the hobby..You gotta accept that. People who can't accept that need to learn that these animals are wild animals and we, as keepers are trained professionals and we are always ready for worst if it were to happen.
What's she bred with? She looks fully gabby to me.

do you need special permits etc to have these? thanx

actually, if it is a western x eastern gaboon cross, you have an hybrid, as they are different species (Bitis gabonica x Bitis rhinoceros)

@the3bigreddevils Snakes can unhinge their jaws and eat things far larger than them, so I wouldn't worry about the legs.

That is no "hybrid" or "intergrade"... That is a pure Bitis rhinoseros or West African Gaboon...
The West African Gaboon is no longer Bitis gabonica rhinoseros... It has its own full species status...

Hybrid? It looks like B. gabonica.
