Cool pistol! I know this may sound like a dumb question, but could the Shadow and/or any other CZ 75 hold up in a jungle enviroment?

I think it could... there could be some messing but if it would be cleaned a bit it would probably work.

The CZ-75 Shadow is purpose built for target competitions. The firing pin block has been removed - among other modifications - in order to decrease the trigger pull weight. The sights have been changed and above all, the pistol weighs over 1kg *unloaded*, so it is very heavy. The CZ-75 SP-01 Shadow is not suitable for carry.

There are many variants of the CZ-75 though, such as the CZ-75 Tactical, which is polymer framed and is thus much lighter. There are also compact versions of the CZ-75.

CZ is known to be a rugged handgun.Probably it can resist the jungle environment atleast for a month.

-california has a 10 round limit on the magazines, which is 10+1. The full capacity mag is 18+1. that sure did look like 12 rounds to me too, though.

-The shadow's primary difference is that its '33% lighter' it has a polymer frame.

You're thinking of the phantom... the shadow main diffrence is the sights and some trigger work.

Ah yes, I stand corrected. I've been shooting my SP-01and it's absolutely awesome, very nice gun. I kinda enjoy the tritium night sights on it so far, but I do think that some trigger adjustments could make it even better. Its REALLY accurate, I'm not even a great shot but I am with this baby.

Here too! In Italy we have limit on mags, don't know if it's because the caliber is 9x21mm, but it's at 16 rounds :)
