For people that DONT think Jaedong canceled his Spire, HE DID.

1. If you look on the unit selection box on the bottom, you can see that when the commentator doesnt click anything, but the spire turns into a drone.

2. Mathematically, a spire takes 100 seconds to build. the time between the 2 clicks where the commentator checked the spire was 40 seconds, and in that time the spire completed about 80 health. in 40 seconds, the spire should have gained 240 health (600 times .4).

The time it takes for a spire to build is actually 68.57 seconds, not 100... idk what measure of time those silly websites base this off of. but anyways in 40 seconds he should have gained 350!!!!!! hp. enough to finish his spire. instead he gained 80. gaining 80 hp takes about 37 seconds, and 7:09 minus 37 seconds is 6:32, precisely 1 second after we see the spire turn into a drone

The loser lost fair and square but there were a few things that "helped" him lose.

1) The map is disadvantageous for Zergs in ZvP

2) The loser, for some reason, canceled his spire and restarted it. This allowed Bisu to kill 4 overlords which blocked his supply for a while

3) The loser was doing a decent job holding Bisu back but he decided to tech to Hive instead of harrassing Bisu with mid-game stuff like drops in his main.

4) The mutas did pretty much nothing except kill 1 HT. Bad opening

#1 is slightly flawed: It is hard for Zergs to hold their 4th gas/expansions, but not impossible imo. Espec with Jaedong's amazing multi talk, holding his 4th gas should be no problem. Watch Bisu vs Jaedong on Blue storm. That is more of Jaedong's style, with an agressive in-your-face play. The lack of mutas, and the lack of damage the mutals did, probably resulted in his loss

Im sorry but I don't accept your first argument, Jaedong is > map imbalance, Bisu has beaten him on Z favoured maps and same goes for Jaedong he has beaten bisu on P favored maps.

He cancelled his spire to throw bisu off into thinking he was going a pure 5 hatch hydra build instead of a mutalisk build.

To put it simple Jaedong did not play as well as bisu today, they are soo good that they can beat each other on any given day. There is no point in always pointing out that x is why he lost

Not a misclick. He showed the Spire to Bisu, killed the scouting probe, then cancelled it- he was trying to trick him into believing there was a muta harass incoming, but spent the extra resources in two hatcheries instead.

When the Corsair gets to JD's base at 7:24, it hangs around, confused for a second while Bisu realizes what happened.

There's no way it was intentional, though. You still have the money for two extra hatcheries with the BO he used: 3 hat lair into 5 hat hydra into delayed mutas.

What he DID do, tho, was take his second gas late and show hydras. There is no way JD is stupid enough to intentionally cancel the spire only to rebuild it immediately and lose three ovies as a result (would have been one otherwise). The sair isn't confused, it's called multitasking.
