when i got big enough to ride it they took the loop out because people got wip lash but now its called the phantoms revenge its light green..i live right down the street from it..kennywood is boring!!!!!! 412 distric all day!!!! STEEL CITY!!!
Thunderbolt is my 2nd favorite coaster i've been on. If they were to knock down thunderbolt that would be the reason to not go there anymore. Kennywood has some of the best coasters i have been on

are you kidding me?!?! they would never knock down a wooden coaster in kennywood! they were like the first roller coasters ever made in kennywood. like the racer, it is now the only raceing ride in the world that runs on one track. the thunderbolt was one on the top roller coasters in america.
I was SO disappointed when they changed the steel phantom to the phantom's revenge and took all the loops and corkscrews out. That was a much better ride. Amazing how at one time we had the tallest, fastest and steepest rollercoaster in the world here! Now Cedar Point and other amusement parks are blowing Kennywood away. Yes....the memories of that great coaster!
first of all, how in the world could someone shatter there knee caps on a roller coaster that straps in your torso and does not allow much leg movement at all, second of all ive ridden both many times SP and PR and the original was so much better and greater than that new pos theyve put in its place the loops at the end added so much!!!! Now its gone and im just glad i got to experience the first phantom!!!!
i know the only difference from the steel phantom is that they took off all the loops and all thows stupid 5 foot drops at the end. but its still a cool ride

Part of the reason they took the Steel Phantom down was because of the injuries.
