  • love it thank you

  • that top note can kill a person

  • yeahhhh ;D

  • I don't care what anyone says, this is too slow, haha. Still singable, but too slow and in a different key because of it.

  • i am singing this for a school thing! Glee and this karaoke were my inspiration! thanks!!!

  • MAYBE THIS TIME ILL ACTUALLY SING IT RITE!

  • @ChristineAMompoint Maybe this time you'll actually spell it right :P

  • Awesome, finally a karaoke version of this song! I love singing this tune. If you have the time, check out my A Capella version of it; it's not bad if I do say so myself ;) Once again, thanks for the karaoke version. It'll be a smash at my weekly Glee party :D

  • I love this song! Come visit my page for a cover of it.

  • Mostly this song isnt in the stage shows cos it was written in for Liza, but yeah so much can come from this song, (always loved it), but my interpretation of it is very sad and depressing maybe this time he will stay, but probably not.

  • I'm not sure but this version seems like it may be a half a step lower than the glee version, cuz i was like going from this version, to the glee version and they were like *just a little bit* different in pitch..... i may be wrong though.

  • i love thiss, so hard to sing though. I'm 13 my voice isnt really mature enough to sound perfect.. I just forgot about the last note because in the original cabaret they never said that...

  • This is slower than the original version of the song, but to be honest, who cares? It's still an amazing song! :)

  • @PenfforddMan It's not.

  • @nikrolls It actually is, I've played both of them at the same time, and the Version with Kristen Chenoweth and Lea Michelle singing is faster and gets out of time with this one. It's a fact :)

  • @PenfforddMan Exactly my point. You said it's slower than the original, but it's not because it *is* the original. It's slower than the Glee version, which *isn't* the original.

  • @nikrolls No. This video specifically states that it is the "(Glee Version)" Therefore, the original of THIS particular song, is the Kristen Chenoweth version, from Glee. So, technically, the original IS the Glee version, so this is different from the original version of this song, as it is slowe than the Glee version.

  • @PenfforddMan It's not slower.

  • thank you for this (: it's purrrfect

  • lol this is almost the same as the original. XD

  • @wabalooba300 This a bit higher. I think hahaha

  • I love this song, was so much fun to sing!!

  • It sounds slow to me too, but I'm sure that's due to the lack of overlapping vocals. A lot of the oomph of this song is up to the singer. But, it's definitely the proper arrangement/instrumentation, and plus it's in the right key for the Kristin Chenoweth version. There are pretty obvious discrepancies between the Glee audio and broadway/film/revival recordings; so if you need proof, play 'em back to back, and there it is.

  • Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

  • this isn't Glee version... is Liza Minnelli original version in karaoke... and why the fuck this song is so slow?

  • @denguxo its not slow, that's the original speed

  • The last note that April (Kristin Chenoweth) sings is SOO much fun to sing!

  • @jessicawalters27

I know! I just sang this twice through with the note. Ahhhh, it's so awesome! I never knew I could hit the Cheno note :3

  • It's so slow I feel stoned.

  • I'll record this soon!

  • thank you so much!!~~

  • thank u soooo much it's perfect! :)

  • thank u for posting this

  • this what i need

  • AWESOME :)

  • If you could get back to me on this, how did you get this karaoke version? I have a performance in two weeks and I can't find the music.

  • there's a website - I think it's called mediaconverter that would let you get this music from this video. Good luck with the performance :D

  • This isn't the Glee version.

This is the original Cabaret version....

  • where did you get this version!! It's perfect, I really want it for a performance I'm doing... please help! lol x

  • How can i get this version?

  • what time do you start singing?

  • at 0:14 thats the que to start

  • It's slow because the mood is different than the original. The original is a little more upbeat; she's truly hopeful and excited about her new love interest. In contrast, Kristin Chenoweth's character has almost no hope. Things are looking up temporarily, but her life has been a catalogue of mistakes, and she's more looking back on those than looking forward to better times.

  • @smilingsoprano This isn't the Glee version by the way.

  • @smilingsoprano wrong on so many levels, but good work for trying :P

  • @5squiddles *shrug* It's how I interpret the different performances I've seen. I think it's wonderful, though, that the agreements and disagreements about my opinion highlight the variability of emotional response to music and acting. I'd love to hear how it strikes you.

  • @smilingsoprano @AriRoobn It's too slow. Those top comments are bull. Look at the Glee version - its not even 3mins.... so how can the karaoke be 3:36 and not be too slow....?

  • It is a bit slow.. Other than that it's the glee version of the song, right lyrics, just a bit slow that's all.

  • little slow, but i loved it!

  • This isn't actually the version from Glee.

  • Yay thanks (:

  • it is me or it's a little bit slow...

  • It's actually the perfect speed.

  • OMG!!!!!!! YYYYYAAAAHHHHH!! i was just listening to this!!!!! YOU ROCK!
