I can very well believe it. I myself have shed more than one tear at his concerts. The most tearjerking was his solo on Outside Now. Unbelievable talent.
I first heard this vershin at 15 years oid or16 i love to day as much as i did then exspechley these diffrent vershins here im 50 now 15 16 whater it was a long time ago.WOW IM 50) DAMMMMMMM!Its 4:20LOLOLOL
I was at this concert I'll never forget it I was home on leave from the Air Force and I had a choice to see Aerosmith or Zappa I've never seen Aerosmith to this day.Zappa was so loud and clean, his playing was immaculate that night as the audio here tells.I was so glad to have found this.Rasta Clint
Cont' d Frank Zappa along w/ Sly Stone( The Original Family Stone), Are the some of the most creative musicians of the 20th and maybe the 21st century.... lest I forget Stockhausen, and Stravinsky.
I wish everybody knew about Zappa. He is honestly one of the greatest musical composers of all time. If only he was still alive. But I don't think people today would appreciate Zappa. So maybe it is better that he died in a generation where he was still beloved through out the world.
I'm sorry, but i have to say its never better that he died when and how he did. Hes still appreciated by the people that appreciated him back then, so to say he wouldn't be today i think is a bit askew. I cant even imagine the type of awe-inspiring music he could have put out in the past 16 years, maybe music could have been completely different if he hadn't died when he had.
This is the longest version of Black Napkins i've ever heard - f**king brilliant. And brilliant solo from Eddie Jobson - imo better then Ponty. What is the name of this bootleg?
Featuring Flo & Eddie, Ralph Armstrong and Don Brewer.
Songs played:
Intro, Stinkfoot, Dirty Love, Wind Up Workin' In A Gas Station, The Torture Never Stops, City Of Tiny Lights, Pound For A Brown, Titties 'n Beer, Black Napkins, Rudy Wants To Buy Yez A Drink, Would You Go All The Way?, Daddy Daddy Daddy, What Kind Of Girl?, Dinah-Moe Humm, Stranded In The Jungle, Camarillo Brillo, Muffin Man.
I should have listened to part 2 before asking you for the members of the band, sh1nl1quid... Thanks for posting this - it´s a wonderful version. I am also hooked on the `88Barcelona one - which I consider the most mature and richest one of all. Cheers.
Ahh, I do miss my old '76 bootlegs. Great effect Jobson has on his violin; almost sounds like a synthesizer. Bianca had left the band by this point right?

@USLegion I just read the biography of Zappa by Barry Miles and he mentions how audiences would cry during and after he played certain solos.
Not surprising...
