@urania93 Negar la calidad técnica y artística de estos bailarines denota desconocimiento del arte balletístico. No voy a discutir que en el pasado existieron en esta compañía figuras de rango internacional, pero estos jóvenes no tienen nada que envidiar a aquellos. Más bien la calidad de los bailarines en las últimas décadas bajo su nivel. Un ejemplo es la bella Cristina Amaral, quien queda sólo en eso, imagen perfecta, pero su técnica no da para coreografías de rigor y complejidad.

Very beautiful dancing. And even moving in parts. But! What a pity that the male dancer is used primarily as a porteur for the woman. He lifts her up and then he carries her here and over there. But he is a gorgeous dancer, himself. Let him dance. So many exotic lifts, you would think that they were ice skaters dancing in the Olympics. And then the lifts are static. She gets into the lift but nothing happens. And really, the lifts should, even if static, be expressive of deep emotion.

Absolutely amazing work. The choreography is wonderful, the dancers are flawless, the music is sentimental without being watered down....everything works. And props for having a strong female lead!

YES : IT IS INTERMEZZO OF THE PUCCIN OPERA "MANON LESCAUT'" just before acte IV. It was a good idea but .... LOOK MAC MILLAN 'S MANON IT "S A GREAT BALLET NOT LISE THIS , SO ACADEMIQUE WITH NOT REAL EMOTION. WHO IS THE CHOREAGRAPHE ?

@VictoriaMiriam No sé si hoy en día es lo mejor, pero en los tiempos del Ballet Nacional de Caracas, habían muchas bailarinas extraordinarias y virtuosas tanto en técnica como en interpretaciones, capaces de bailar clásico, contemporáneo... mujeres como Elsy Barrios, Marifé Giménez, Suzana Riazuelo, Catoya, la Amaral, y tantas otras tan exquisitas, que de verdad, no hay punto de comparación entre ellas y lo que se supone que es esto lo mejor que hoy en día tiene la compañía del TTC. Memoria¡

Maravilloso trabajo Sanzana!!! Ojalá puedas mostrar aquí la versión que bailaron en la Gala del mes de Julio... Si ya la pieza es buena... en la "Fiesta del Ballet" estuvo simplemente sobrada... mejorado el vestuario, madurada la estructura, mucho más ligada y musical y con unos sorprendentes legatos... Te Felicito!!! Sabes que de tus piezas ésta es mi preferida.
