If they are a cliches it is only because they set high standards with their earlier work. They still put on a great show and great music. Bigger Bang rocks more then bands half their age. I saw the Stones live on 3 occasions and I can assure you that the raw energy translated on stage can never be replicated on a flat screen and teeny weeny speakers. The solos sound 'flat' under these circumstances but on stage the effect is superb. In any case, you can't expect Keith to play like Eric Clapton!
