They are just conditioning us to think these drones are in our best interest for crime & terrorists and the like, when in reality the drones will be used against us!
a couple ideas: well made "scarecrows" might be able to fool the computer, or at least waste some ammo =) painting your face to look robotic (a recent scientific study suggests, specially on eyebrows, hair, prominent features, look it up) can also fool computers; close enough structures might impair flight (e.g. high tubes close together)... spread the word.
Americans have a clear right to privacy. The Fourth Amendment states that “the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
If you wanted to be an activist, its called learn how the technology works and work against it, its not hard. a high power microwave jammer would have brought that drone down.
...through any actual (or perceived) Constitutional bulwarks of States Rights, which of course trickle down local jurisdictional oversight, but what the Hell, right? I mean, they're going after evil right-wing white-breads who have no political clout, lobbying group or special interests in DC, so who cares - go get 'em...!
You'll wake up, that is for certain, but at the point you do, the clutches of 'hero's-in-uniform' will already have you firm in their grip.
The government easily sidesteps Constitutional issues (on not 1, but 2 fronts here), dear citizens...
- Because the vehicle is 'unmanned', it does not represent 'quartering' of troops against U.S. citizens - although, they'd trample right over that nuisance if push came to shove.
- The 'Commerce Clause'... Increasingly - almost to a point of routinely, the Congress and the other 2 branches of government are leaning on vagaries inherent in the Commerce Clause to bludgeon their way (continued)
Holy Shit..........They had to use a 20 million dollar piece of military hardware to catch these bunch of inbreed f00ls..;( Well at least we can see our Tax Dollars hard at work.. ~pct3ch~
Welcome to the police state. All those cool weapons you see on the military channel which they used on the people Iraq and Afghanistan will now be turned on us!
@SOVEREIGNUNITED Maybe! Sometimes it's hard to differentiate between military surveillance, traffic cams, and Google street view. It's all about what we're willing to accept.
